How does the new trade affect the Pelicans when it comes to available exceptions?

It really doesn't matter there is basically no one left worth the MLE and the difference between BAE and Vet minimum is really negligible. My guess is that we just sign another scrub, maybe Miller or Garcia and just go into the offseason.

Yeah. Weird that Aldridge only listed Ely. Some other non guaranteed deals have to be included right?
BTW- Demps deserves tremendous credit for the Ely signing. That was done for this exact purpose and it worked perfectly.
