Right, that's what Im saying. We are talking what will prob be a pick in the teens and our young "assets" are 2nd round picks any team couldve drafted.

I know it boils down to who needs a PG and what they have as far as young assets, but I have a hard time believing we have anything to entice PHO

Also I dont think PHO had any intention of signing Griffin or Milsap as they are loaded w youth in the frontcourt and theyre bringing back big sauce

I don't disagree. It's a nice thought but a bit unrealistic.

I think we should set our sights towards maybe like a Collison.

Yap, he wants to play for a contender so I guess it would boil down to how he views us. But, there arent many PG jobs available as it is, and we have a decent team w PT to offer. This will hopefully play into our hands. Like I wonder what happens with a guy like Derrick Rose?

A guy I like that I havent heard much about that could fill a role for us - Shelvin Mack

Does Jrue want to play in the backcourt with Collison?

Wasn't Jrue the guy behind Collison in the backcourt at UCLA, and now Jrue would be one of our Big Threesy. Are they friends?

I think Collison would probably start next to Holiday in most matchups. Bigger teams maybe it's Holiday and Moore.

It also gives you the option to stagger minutes where you have at least 2 of Collison, Jrue, AD, boogie on th court for almost the entire game.

Gyno I've seen you mention Shelvin Mack in the past I think. I've liked him as a bench player, but man is he a poor 3pt shooter.

The question is will they remain friends after the 10th time Joel and Jen tell us the charming story about how somebody mistook Jrue for Collison and Lauren said Jrue was much better looking than Collison. We hear it at least 2 times a year now, how many times will they run that into the ground if he's actually on the team?

I agree with Fun Bunch though, I think they start together. Collison fits with the staggering I've been kicking around based on last year where you have 2 distinct bench units. An AD/Jrue small ball defensive bench unit and in this case a DC Squared offensive bench unit when Cousins and Collison come back into the game.

Cousins and collision had some bad blood before if I recall correctly

I assume he and jrue are friends as they both grew up in the same area as well as the ucla thing

The Bulls’ young players all swore by Rondo last season. Took time after practice to work with them even with his weird playing situation twitter.com/BA_Turner/stat…

That was a tweet in response to the Lakers looking at Rondo as a mentor figure for Lonzo Ball. I know he's got a reputation as an a-hole, but I think he's the kind of driven a-hole this team could use. I wouldn't want him as a starter though.

Nick Young a ‘serious candidate’ to join Warriors, per @wojespn ble.ac/2tfzirt

We really need a Nick Young. Why go backup in GS when he could get more playing time in NO? The Warriors got coin?

Maybe he wants a ring and to stay on the West Coast.

Hopefully Solomon Hill gets better and starts earning his money, but even if he doesn't, over time I think his deal will get relatively "better" like Asik's has.

Is Waiters expected to get more than the MLE?

ETA: I figured he would, but Hoopshype has him ranked between Rose and Rondo.
