Kyle Lowry @ 3yr/100mil
or
Jrue Holiday @ 5yr/125mil
Not sure I like either, I think I like Lowry's slightly less.

I would take Jrues contract every day without a second thought

Who else is still available that fits what the Pelicans need?

Reporting with @MarcJSpearsESPN: ESPN sources say Sacramento offered Washington restricted free-agent Otto Porter the max.

You're so missing out dude--Tyreke is love

Realistically our options are Rondo, CJ Miles, Ty Lawson, Nick Young, Darren Collison, Justin Holiday, Ian Clark, Shabazz Muhammad
Players that could be traded for are Eric Bledsoe or Pat Beverly (less likely now with Blake resigning)

There are going to be some bargains. Teams are taking it very easy with the spending and there are going to be good players available on deals.

Bunchy what would be the Suns motivation to take that shite deal that whoever floated for us to get Bledsoe
Posted on 7/2/17 at 6:24 pm to GynoSandberg
If they're at the point of taking on bad contracts for picks, why not trade Bledsoe for a few picks?
Posted on 7/2/17 at 6:28 pm to GynoSandberg
I mean there really wouldn't be one, unless they think that:
Breaking up the contracts into multiple players makes them more movable
And
Lightly protected picks/unprotected Picks are extremely important to them.
And for some reason the Pels basket of shite is better than others.

Aren't they trying to trade bad contracts like chandler and Brandon knight?
Posted on 7/2/17 at 6:33 pm to GynoSandberg
I'm sure they would love to but everything that's been reported is that they want to take on bad deals for assets.
Posted on 7/2/17 at 6:38 pm to Fun Bunch
Yeah, they lost out on Blake and then the next thing we heard was they were out on Millsap and looking to do what rebuilding teams do, take on bad contracts for assets. There's no hurry but trading Bledsoe seems like a step they'll take this year.

it was only a few days ago a Kyrie/Bledsoe deal almost went down. I'm just not sure the pels have any real "assets" for a Bledsoe
Sure they will take on some salary to rid a chandler or a knight

Honestly someone like Patrick Patterson or Amir Jonson would be a solid addition as well
It's not a bad strategy if you know you're going to be bad for a few years. "Hey we will take that bad salary off your hands for a first rounder." You gain assets and give essentially nothing in return

I took it as more they will absorb bad contracts for promising young players or 1st round picks.
