Naw has been really fricking good off the bench the last few weeks. Everyone was ready to write him off before the all star break. If he keeps shooting the 3 well and driving to the rim as well as he has recently, the dude will be a baller.

In a stat that is not at all surprising lately, the +/- for Jaxson was +15 and Adams was -9.

A lot of Jaxson's defensive impact doesn't show up in other stats, as he affects shots at the rim and forces missed shots.

Good win for the Pels. Biggest issue we have when we get leads is we don’t manage the clock at all. We turn the ball over ridiculously early in the shot clock and on quite a few possessions we are hoisting up a wild shot with 12-18 seconds left on the shot clock. Some of that is our guys looking for the dagger, the other part is allowing the other team to bait us into speeding things up.

When we are up big with 3-5 mins to play. We just need to dribble that shite down inside of 6 seconds and then try to score. Even if you don’t you are shrinking the game down and limiting possessions for the opposition. When the lead was cut to 3, zero time should’ve been on the clock, but since we left double digit seconds on the board 5-6 times, there was still almost a minute left in the game.

It makes the Adams trade worse and worse

Why does Griff have to overrate centres who can't shoot so much?

fricking hell

If you listen to Jaxson, he attributes alot of his growth this season to Steven taking him under his wing. He's mentioned how at every turn Steven is talking to him as much as possible and explaining what he's doing wrong and how to correct it.

Jaxson's growth alone makes the trade a win.

Turn off caps lock dude. Also the Pels came as close as they possibly could to choking a 16 point lead with 4 mins to go as they could without actually choking it away. Everyone on this board has watched the Pels choke double digit leads 11 times this season. Sorry that everyone got nervous....

That was a big plus in the trade originally. It seems to have come true.

There was the trade and then there was also the extension, so it's not a win

But I'm gonna stay happy with the win

I will say Adams made several nice defensive plays today. Which is noteworthy, because I hadn’t seen him make an impact defensive play in months. But yes, at this point Hayes is better than him defensively and offensively. The coaches need to split their minutes evenly if anything.

Great shot. He needed that. That earlier 3 pt shot with 20 on the clock almost gave me an aneurysm. He's too smart of a player for that.

Adams at 17 million a year for 2 years is a positive asset. There's absolutely nothing about his extension that is bad.

All 3 of the draft picks played well in this game

Kira has really steadied the back PG spot and brings a spark and rarely makes mistakes that you think a 19 year old would make.

A Bledsoe/Kira/Hart/Johnson/Hayes bench should be pretty decent if they make the correct decision.

Bro you can’t be serious about Steven Adams at 2yr 34 mil being a positive asset lol. Had we waited, his market value would’ve been in the 8-12m range max.

Steven was good when the entire league wasn’t 3 ball centric. He also had less lead in his feet back then. Steven might be a positive asset in 2 years at the 2023 trade deadline, but not before then.

Who’s GIVING this team assets to take him?

I’ll hang up and wait for an answer.

Who would give up a positive asset and what type of asset?

Good luck finding that trade.

Anybody know if there actually is any beef between BI and Tatum? The elbow was tough but him ignoring BI afterwards kinda sent bad vibes.
