Standings shaping up like the end of last year in West. Tightly packed where I could see us climbing to #2 like we were at the end of 2022 at the end of this calendar year.
In 9th place currently but only 2 games out of 2nd. Possible we run the table in December.

I'm watching the Pistons at the Bucks, and the Bucks are currently up 43 to 20 at the end of the 1st period.
The Pistons are well on their way to losing their 23rd straight game (NBA record is 28).
Why am I watching this game? Because I think that most of the Pistons roster will be available for trades, and I want to check out the options.

How would that somehow happen? By giving up one or more of the Pelicans top young players: Ingram, Zion, Murphy, Herb, Daniels, Hawkins, and picks. Which Griffin probably wouldn't do. So you don't have to worry about passing out.

The problem for Detroit is they aren’t a piece or two away from being competitive and they are not really a desirable FA destination. Cunningham and Duren are not exactly a core. I don’t know what they do

Harden had an amazing game. He put up 35/3/9 with only 1 t/o, while going 8 for 11 from 3pt. He's going up against Haliburton, who is supposed to be a good defender. Harden waxed him.
Pacers shouldn't be this bad at defense. They have good individual defenders and solid athletes. Is it the system that prioritizes offense too much?

And suck this badly next year too?
No, their young players with promise aren't good enough and don't fit together. They need to trade some of them in order to draft some different young players with promise and get a couple of players who are already good who can help lead them.
Bojan isn't going to fetch all that much.
