There's really not much smoke about Horford going anywhere else, is there? I've seen some 76ers fans claiming that Horford was signing there, but that just seems stupid. There are Sixers people claiming that it's a done deal.

The Los Angeles Lakers will currently enter free agency $587K short of the full max contract space ($32.7M). This means, unless more space is created, the Lakers can offer Kawhi Leonard or another max free agent four years, $138.3M while other teams can offer four years, $140.8M.
plus space jam 2

It's from a mystery team which means the source is Horford's agent who's saying "trust me every team bidding on my client, I have 4/100 plus in the bag so bring more". I'm not saying he's lying, but his lips are moving and he's an agent.

I can confirm @TheSteinLine 's report that the Pelicans won't be in the Al Horford sweepstakes after all. The bidding went a little beyond what they were willing to do.

The Philly stuff for Horford seems legit. I find it hard to believe, but I guess they think that Horford can get them over the top in the next year or two (essentially replacing Jimmy Butler), and so it doesn't matter if they end up with a terrible contract in year 4.

Plus this will be their last year with space jimmy or no jimmy

If Horford to Philadelphia is real, the Sixers could have a starting 5 of: Simmons, Redick, Harris, Horford, and Embiid. That is a giant team, but I guess it might make sense. Horford and Embiid are agile bigs who can switch.

the problem there is they don’t have a closer
it’s certainly not Harris

Charlotte may as well bottom out this season with all the shite contracts they have.
They don’t have to win the lottery as much was keep from paying to dump those contracts.

Sounds like the Kings are very close on Dedmond. No clue what our goal is at C.
