I’m in LA walking around with my Pels shirt right now. From everyone I’ve interacted with, they’re all convinced they’re getting Kawhi or Kyrie. The melt here is gonna be amazing when they wind up with Russell.

Fwiw, those same people hate that we got that haul for AD.

I go back and forth on what would be better for the Pelicans.

Obviously you'd rather him in the East, but him in the same building as AD and LeBron would be great.

ETA: I see the downvotes. To clarify I mean in the same building on the other team.

Boston has renounced Terry Rozier.

Looks like Kemba is a lock.

Remember Deandre Jordan’s signing with Dallas? The one where he backed out at the last minute and returned to the Clip Show?

That’s why you don’t so shite like this before ink hits paper.

No surprise. I’m glad we aren’t the team paying him that though.

That means they have a trade lined up. They’ll have to give up picks to move Wiggins.

The Raptors have coveted Wiggins for years. If Leonard is gone, they can slide Wiggins into that salary slot. Even better if the Wolves sweeten the pot. Wiggins still has tons of talent and could thrive in the right situation..

Oh, they can find a taker.

The question is what it will cost them.

An AD-level trade in giving up their firsts? Getting John Wall in return? Giving up Culver or other young pieces?

who though?
the taker needs to have 28MM in space and a chest for the remaining 4 years of that deal.
MIN can’t take any salary back if they want Russell

kings maybe?

speaking of kings

Interest between the Sacramento Kings and free agent center Dewayne Dedmon is mutual, and strong. Nothing set yet, but there is confidence on both sides. Expect a resolution tomorrow

Dedmon to Kings means Horford to Pels looks much closer to happening.
