re: No Pelicans in top 10 of fan voting for ASG

Our play in October and November played a big role in how fans around the league viewed us. Things will change as we continue to win and generate hype. Voting starting in December does not change that view over night.

In regards to fan voting its hype. Its who they want to see in an exhibition game. Wemby is what fans want to see. Fan voting is based on what fans want to see. Wemby is what fans want.
I mean your first post you said if you're objective, he deserves it. So does he deserve to be there or is it just hype?
No, it should not be surprising and this obviously isn't finished, but BI and Zion both would deserve to be in over him.

I mean honestly its mostly hype. But you can make a case for deserving saying some of the stats hes putting up as a rookie are ridiculous; the same could be said for Chet- although Chet is on a winning team and technically second year.
I just find it funny people get agitated every year in regards to fan voting top ten. I mean its fans- not players/coaches. I don’t think Zion/BI honestly haven’t played like consistent all stars this year until after the IST loss to the lakers. So I don’t have an issue with any of those guys above them.

frick that shite. I’m about to make 10 different accounts and vote Zion BI CJ everyday

here’s what the average NBA fan knows about the pelicans players:
-Zion, fat
-Ingram, traded by lebron
-CJ, used to play with lillard
everyone else, who?
why would anyone be surprised by the lack of fan voting

Zion not in the top 10 shows just how far Zion has fallen in popularity, which is wild.
He's hardly played in 4 years. He plays in a tiny market. And his numbers this year are far from eye popping.

I could give two fricks about the all star charade

We aren’t a marketable team
We aren’t a trustworthy team
A lot of players have much better stats than our front line guys and they don’t have the stench of still being untrustworthy health or clutch wise after 5 seasons.
It is what it is. We have zero all stars this year. That’s okay. That’s not the ultimate goal at the end of the day.
It’s to get better as a team and actually have team success for one of the few times in New Orleans Basketball history.

Sengun
Bro, have you been asleep while the Rockets led by Sengun and a bunch of nobody casuals has swept the Pels with Zion, Ingram, CJ playing this season?
Sengun 10000% deserves it over anyone on our team and he probably won’t even get it. And that’s even with him being a likable, Marketable Euro Star in a bigger and more popular nba market.
For the record, Wemby, Kat, and Chet all deserve their flowers as well. But I singled out Sengun, bc I would’ve thought your arse would’ve understood how good the guy is by now after he constantly wrecks our shite. (Led Rockets to 3 wins out of last 4 against the Pels, including an easy 37 burger a week ago.)
Wake up. This homer only schtick is horrendous and borderline retarded at this point.
If you are going to use examples on how the voting is inaccurate or flawed, try to use better examples.
