Nva heard this, is this public knowledge? Why was he told no?

From what Stein said yesterday in an article all signs were pointing to Willie being fired in season this year but it never happened. Maybe ownership overruled it once they had to fire Dennis Allen

And it takes forever for our players to heal and come back. That is Oschners fault.

The past two seasons they have came back on the timelines stated or close to it, ever since we hired that new physical therapist who specializes in injury recovery, who also has nothing to do with Ochsner BTW.

Injury recovery is not what Oschner does, they literally do the same thing your family doctor would do, diagnose and perform surgery. Injury prevention and recovery is covered by the team trainers, not Ochsner

Phoenix knows what’s up. They’re already positioning for the 25-26 tank

I don't think they have rights to their top 8 spots in 2026.

They better do everything they can to get their own picks back! They don’t have control over any of their picks until 2032, they’ve done traded everything away.

Likely will have to move Booker and Durant to get them back, send Booker to Houston for the 1sts back and Durant to Washington for the swaps back

Don’t let the door hit you in the arse Griff.

This is the first time I’ve posted on Pels talk in months, man they have demoralized my passion for far too long

Same. I follow the board but I don't post. There's just no point.

Griff had to go, just too much bad JUju. Pels should look for a POBO who is a basketball man, someone who came up and is familiar with locker rooms. Griff came in with a grand plan to revitalize player health and ironically that was his undoing.

I definitely think he led to this awful culture of softness in the organization. I mean, we had our star player sitting out in the playoffs because he “didn't feel like himself”.

I've come around to idea of letting the new GM decide about Willie. While I don't think the plan should be to tank the season, if they do decide to tank for one more year then it makes some sense to not pay another coach when Willie's already under contract and the savings can be rolled to a new coach in 2026. That said, I'd rather start with a new coach and not tank.

I thought the same thing for a while, but it’s not true. It’s the training staff. They are apparently not very good. Also, ochsner has made a partnership with the Dr.James Andrew’s institute. They are the best in the business with sports related injuries that need surgery.

Retaining Willie in a hiring cycle that has some legitimately good coaches available would be borderline negligence

If we end up with Joe Dumars, Willie Green, and InstaPimp Grande next year, I'm 100% out on this franchise.
