BI isn't exactly a plus defender but yea, but a bit better than Reaves.

Ben Simmons is expected to make his return for the Nets on Monday. With him, DayRon Sharpe, and Nic Claxton, the Nets would seem to be ready to sell a center.

Agreed. We are less than the sum of our parts because there’s too many chefs in the kitchen

Let's say
Reaves and bi swap teams.

You think the pels are a better team?

Brooklyn have experimented Ben at C for defence, so what the OG is saying they don't need both Claxton and Sharpe.

I absolutely think we're better with Reaves than BI.

We may be better just without BI period. See last year

For who? Ingram?

I dont see why. They'd be getting g rid of two guys on much more reasonable contracts for a dude getting paid. Not like Ingram makes them good.

I dont really like Sharpe or Scoot anyway

Y’all think the staff, management, …. Players are sleeping well right now? I wish someone could tell a story about this part of the season when the organization worked hard and put theirselves in a descent position. I think the phones are blowing up, just my opinion.

I would go Z before BI but either ?

Those guys fit as potential high upside targets that could be gettable.

The question is more about would Portland flip from “rebuilding “ to trying to win with DA , Simons, Grant , Zion or Ingram .

some of yal are straight ridiculous. BI ain't the all-star, a tier guy we're hoping for but he's a net positive on this team.

That being said, if we're gonna ever be able to win --- his contract needs to be closer to dejounte murray (4/120 - 30mil) than a jaylen brown (5/288mil - 58mil).

Advanced numbers, they are all similar players.

I don't think so. Ownership doesn't have a championship or bust mentality. Probably never will. They will be happy with a 50 win season and postseason play. As long as the business model is profitable and they meet sales goals, they're sitting pretty.

His offense is like a classic center… can’t hit a goddamn thing past about 3 feet and can’t hit a FT to save his life.

Difference is that the problems with Simmons are in his head as opposed to physical damage like Ben Wallace or Shaq having trouble due to previous breaks of their arms / wrists.
