I looked up that Lakers team Kobe was 25 and Shaq was 31 , Malone was 40 and Payron was 35, not the same thing as LBJ playing with GSW.

My current theory as to why no deals of note have gotten done with the Pels:
Teams feel like based on last year, they can take advantage, so they are holding out on Joe's tough talk and expect him to fold eventually

I think it's much more simpler than that. Poole and Hawkins would require them to give up picks to move. And no one has offered up what they consider good enough value for them to move Trey or Herb right now.
While I don't think they are just trying to get rid of players like Herb and Trey, they are also not married to a lot of these Griffin guys and would move them if the value is there.
