I cannot even fathom how people are bashing this trade.
I’m pouring two fingers of Weller Full Proof for this news.

CJ for Suggs + Isaac
You giving up three first rounders as well?
Isaac and Suggs are two young great defenders who can also space the floor. They are exactly the players you want rounding out tour top 8. That is why I said BI for Isaac and Suggs.

Allen would be tight. Google was showing a lot of Ayton and KAT, which was not as tight lol.
I mean I’d probably take either for the right deal, but Allen seems much more exciting

Aside from the OP I feel like it’s been pretty positive in here. This was an incredible move by griff imo. Good timing too, after doing nothing over the draft our expectations were pretty low

Well now I feel even better about this trade.
Not sure why? I’ve been right about every move Griffs made so far. Have plenty of receipts if you want to see them.

Ive gotten on Griff a lot but he got Dejounte without technically giving up a lottery pick (90% likely), Herb or BI. This was a great trade for us! Kudos to Griff on this one!

I honestly only want to trade for 1 of Kessler/ Allen/ KAT/ Lauri.
MIN: BI + 2-3 picks + Naji S&T
Pels: KAT
I honestly have no clue what order i'd want them. Probably Kessler #1 if the trade is attached with even 2 picks.
We have:
BI + (Naji) + (Val)
As far as salary fillers.
So in a way i believe we could still take on about (60mil) if S&T Val and Naji along with BI.

it’s interesting cause if you trade Ingram for a center, you still leave Trey on the bench

I saw the news an out 20 minutes late. It was kind of a shock to see dejounte murray in a Pels uniform and the first name from us being Larry Nance Jr. I mean he’s solid, as is Dyson, but they aren’t going to start for us.
I’m also excited to see Murray as a point guard again. He was awesome that last year in San Antonio

Herb.
1. If CJ stays, he starts.
2. Trey is replacing BI.
3. Defensive Murray moves Herb to bench for extra offense
4. Defensive center makes that happen
Herb will still close games or play more minutes.
We go up 20 and sit CJ the whole 4th for Herb.

If CJ can swallow his pride and go to the bench, we would be a dangerous team with CJ as the defacto 6th man.
I'm just highly skeptical that we would even ask that of him.

Dejounte is a better player than Trae. You guys will be happy.

The more I think about it I hope its either:
KAT- frick it, all in
or
Kessler- Smart, sustainable, keep war chest

I honestly think he’ll go to the bench. Willie and Griff will frame as CJ making this huge sacrifice as a leader to make this team better. Hes getting paid anyways and he gets the same amount of minutes- not a huge deal.

If you can flip BI into Allen and another player or some firsts, that’s disgusting. Zion, Murray, and Allen is sick.
