Zion Williamson has scored 30+ points with a 70+ FG% in three of his last five games.

The last player to record three such games in a five-game span was LeBron James in February 2013.

He has four such career games, the most in NBA history by a player before his 21st birthday.

Seriously guys, some of you are so focused on what he isn't doing that you're missing what he is doing.

Personally, I feel like he’s improving game by game, especially conditioning wise. He’s looking quicker and his energy seems to be picking up to me.

Stan is putting him on the perimeter much more often. At the beginning of the season, he was primarily in the post the majority of the game. Now they're mixing it up to give him some balance. And it has worked out great for him.

And they probably won't, Sinclair Broadcasting seems to be fine with losing all of their deals.

I’ve also noticed an increase in dribble handoffs to him which I like.

Several weeks ago people couldn't believe that the Pels hadn't installed an offense and seemed to believe that they had just chosen to be bad at it and it wasn't going to get much better. But everything Stan had been saying to that point was literally "the offense doesn't matter, they need to get better on defense."

The past week or 2 he's finally been making some comments about the offense and needing to play with more pace. We've also seen some break downs of new plays, particularly the dribble hand off around the base line, an area you don't usually see DHOs happen, to "slingshot" Zion into the lane with momentum and his man on his hip.

He was super active on defense last night IMO. He still doesn't always make the right read and gets lost occasionally, but that will improve with time.

My only real concern for Zion is durability. His defense will pick up with experience as will his offensive variety. It just looks to me like his conditioning has come around and his legs are under him more. He’s still not as explosive as he was in college, but he’s getting closer and is a flat out scoring machine in the paint.

They will win a shite load of games if the “others” don’t turn the ball over and hit their wide open 3s. If the “others” can’t do it we need to fine some guys who can.

Defense is fine. BI, Zion, and Adams are legit.

BI and Zion should be running the offense at the end of quarters also.

I came in here to downvote the Frick out of this post based on the title, but you totally redeemed yourself.

This

The past 5 or so games have been epic offensively but there's been improvement all around as well.

What makes that even more impressive is the fact that he’s not even trying to shoot a jump shot so defenders know he’s going to the rim. He’s so fast and strong they can’t stop it.

I do think if he wants longevity in the league he’ll have to develop some sort of mid range game since he won’t always be able to rely on his prime athleticism.

Some people are impatient. He’s 20 years old. He’s got several seasons before he even enters his prime.

The amount of people complaining about Zion is sad and mind numbing.

Boy... it's almost like it was fricking stupid to judge him as a finished product before he even played 40 games (this stupid fricking board, not necessarily you).
