Memphis will Likely trade for Bojan Bogdanovic

With Memphis reassuring their run with Bojan Bogdanovic, we MUST trade for Gary Trent or Malik Beasley to keep up. Worst case scenario is Memphis outbids us for Malik Beasley who I believe is the best target for us to get ATM.

I thought Keanu Reeves killed him with a book?

we MUST trade
We don't need to do anything. We especially don't need to do something that moves our window up unnecessarily. We need to let CJ, BI and Zion see the floor for an extended amount of time before we do anything. If that means we let other teams get better with deals we choose not to entertain, then fine.

That could be a year we lose as a contender. At this point, we have to assume/project. Griff and team really needs to make a calculated guess here, and I think that guess is you gotta go all in on a title. That doesn't mean we have to make a trade, maybe you don't find the right guy at the right value, but you have to assume you're all in this season and try to find a player who can be in a playoff rotation for the right trade if you can.

what if we trade our depth for a player who doesn’t end up fitting with our current team and on a restricting contract while taking away minutes from players who could use them to develop skills for a playoff run both this year and the future?

Maybe we don't need to make a trade, but just pointing out if a trade doesn't work out, that doesn't automatically mean a trade shouldn't have been made, it could mean we just got the wrong guy.
Virtually no one right now would say we are the most likely team to win a title. That alone tells me we absolutely should be trying to improve the team if possible.

I think even fully healthy we lack shooting.
I think it's a bigger problem that rim running big.
We have Trey who can't shoot on the road and that's it. Teams like Boston have no names shooting 43 percent.
We need one.

Rare Shel W
Totally agree though. I think all of us believe we have 10 legitimate playable guys.
1 - z
2 - bi
3 - cj
4 - val
5 - tm3
6 - Naj
7 - Herb
8 - Larry
9 - Jose
10 - Dyson
Realistically maybe even 12 if you count Billy and Jax.
No reason to not try to 2 for 1 somebody if we can find the right move.

No thank you
All the interest in Bojan has driven the price way up. The Hawks or Lakers or Suns can spend up to get him. Don’t want him in Memphis.

i dont know if memphis is really after bojan but for griff to go all in now feels a year too soon.
pels need
1. a mobile big. better bbiq than hayes and a bit bigger than nance.
2. an outside shooter whos at least ok on D if not two-way and is over 6 3.
you are at least likely to get a rookie like one of those with the laker swap.
trey could mature, put on 10 lbs and be the be all end all. the big who shoots.
