What do you mean? Are you saying Boston will be able to get rid of Haywards contract and get Jrue while keeping Brown, Tatum, Smart, and Kemba?

Nothing from that says they aren't talking about Smart. It just says Huerter and #6 would be added to whatever Boston would offer.

We must have 2 different visions of Buddy.

I think he would fit perfect with what the Hawks are looking for, along with getting a backup PG, and only moving down 6 spots in a weak draft. I would jump all over it if I were them.

Yes, of course. They wouldn’t trade for Jrue if they couldn’t it would defeat the purpose.

I mean of course the Sixers are involved.

As I’ve said every team in the league is probably involved. But if 29 teams are offering shite, you’re still wading through a river of shite to choose from.

It’s also tough for me to come up with Philly deals. They aren’t going to send out Simmons or Embiid obviously.

Horford or Harris’s contract would need to be sent somewhere to make money work. And they don’t have significant pick assets that I’m aware of.

Hayward averaged 17.5 ppg being the 4th option. He's not a bum that they have to pay to get rid of. He's actually getting alot of interest around the league, even though he's owed alot on a one year deal.

He's reportedly mulling over accepting or declining his option though, that could be holding it up.

Sixers have all of their picks available.

I wouldn't balk at Thybulle, Horford, #21 and 2-3 future 1sts.

Horford is 34 with 3 years left on that contract.

nets need ATL to facilitate a harden deal.
if there’s any chance of that happening they need to keep ATL and #6 in play. Unless HOU just flat out says they aren’t trading him, ATL is out on a holiday deal

The most potential

It seems to me that Griff is focused on getting future potential rather than veteran talent in a Jrue trade. There are constant mentions of a top 10 pick.

2.5 years. The final year is not fully guaranteed.

I said it earlier today, worst case you send a 1st to dump Horford in the final year of the deal, best case he plays good next season and you rehab his image enough to flip him for another package like OKC did with CP3.

And we still get a rookie guard who's an absolute monster on defense.

Not really. Houston could decide to keep Westbrook since they are getting poo poo platter offers, and roll with Dinwiddie, Westbrook, Lavert, Covington, Prince and Allen.

The Nets don’t have any control over what Atlanta does so I don’t understand your point.

Yea that’s not any better.... You’re out of your mind thinking about taking on Horford. Griffin got rid of all the bad contracts when he got here. He’s not going to ruin his flexibility and waste it on an albatross contract for some shitty returns from philly.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Griffin covets a top 6 pick and cap space more than we do.
