Pels should’ve taken lakers deal but are about to get finessed. Boston convinces pels to wait on them this summer only to not offer Tatum. If/when kyrie leaves which looks really likely at this point Boston will have no incentive to trade Tatum to pels just to rent AD and have him there pretty much by himself with no kyrie and yes I know there are other players but I’m talking about superstars. Remember AD also said he doesn’t wanna go there and won’t resign which will start to sound louder and louder in ainge’s ear in the summer. If NY does get the #1 pick It would be unlikely they’ll trade the possibility of getting Zion and bringing that excitement to Madison Square. So even if you say others teams that may get that pick or any top 3 pick remember those teams are not on ADs list to sign long term so they wouldn’t risk it. So what will be left take whatever Boston is gonna offer you which maybe brown and some other guys and picks or go back to the table with the lakers whom at that point may just wait the year out and get him for nothing or may offer substantially less than what they offered a day or two ago.
