20/65 from 3 this year.

THATS 7.25 ATTEMPTS PER frickING GAME. Top 25 in the fricking league in attempts.

Hes averaging goddamn near 1:1 on his assist to turnover ratio this year too.

Like what the frick does he do well? He's been given 4 years to figure it out. I'd rather ride with naw, a legit 3 pt shooter that can get his own shot and take my lumps. Package lonzo and JJ for a shooter.

Hart hasn't been much better either.

We went from having 2 promising young guards in zo/hart to 0.

I think a trade at the deadline is coming for a starting caliber pg and a backup wing. We cannot afford financially to cripple ourselves in year 2 of zion and year 1 of ingram's new contract.

What's crazy, is if you WATCH him - he's got piles of skill.

Last night, he pretty smoothly sealed a guy off on the block, called for the ball, finished with a smooth reverse. Every now and then he'll throw in a beautiful, slick pass. Some of his threes (even the step backs) look smooth.

The rest of the time? He looks like a sea lion trying to play checkers. WHAT THE frick ARE YOU DOING?

I feel like he could try to simplify his game (a lot) and become a much better player. He tries to do way too much.

And, how is JJ shooting? NAW? Hart?

Hopefully the peanut gallery and national media believes he's good and still improving so we can get max return in value.

What does Lonzo Ball do so well? He’s an elite playmaker in transition and a good defender.

Is ride with NAW the new ride with Hayes?

And you want to trade JJ for a shooter?

Wants to call NAW a legit 3 point shooter but doesn’t acknowledge that hes shooting 27% from 3

We're 8 games into the season

I don't think it's time to completely write off Lonzo or Hart in terms of shooting. JJ has been completely dog shite in regards to shooting too. We just need to figure out our offense. I wouldn't be opposed to moving Lonzo and JJ for a primary ball handler, I don't know who that would be though

Charlotte has Rozier, Graham, and whatever you want to call Lamelo.
Graham is in his last year, and averaged 18ppg and 7.5apg last year.

Malik Monk isn't getting minutes at all right now, but he's still got some value.

You know they'd love to put the Ball's together.

Bledsoe and Monk to the Kings
Lonzo to Hornets
Graham and Buddy to Pels

make it happen.

Then use JJ to try to find a SF/PF. Worst case would be sending him to Brooklyn for Prince.

He needs to work on a floater. He just doesn't have the athleticism to finish at the rim against long defenders. Dust off some tapes of Vasquez and let him watch a couple hours.

I think NAW has the potential to be a 3 point shooter. He definitely *looks* better than he did last year. I think he just needs to play and we can see.

As for Ball, we probably should have traded him this offseason. I certainly don't want to be the team paying this dude 20+.

Hopefully he can play a little better and some team wants to give up something of value for him.

Honestly I would have Ball, Bledsoe, and JJ all on the table.

I'm done with Zo. I'll be honest, with the rumors of him wanting astronomical $ and his inability to grow (basketball IQ-wise because shooting takes time when your shot was THAT jacked up), you cannot invest 8 figures and make him into your core if the goal is playoffs+contending.

Hart on the other hand, I get he couldn't work on his shot this offseason, but financially if we're gonna invest into him...we gotta have him be more consistent offensively for the value to be there. right now, he's a poor man's marcus smart.

Easier said than done, but I hope Kira can develop into someone like Brogdon

It'll be interesting to see as the trade deadline approaches what our record looks like.

If we are still extremely inconsistent or falling way behind the 8 seed, I can see a world where we do everything we can to move Ball, JJ, Bledsoe, and Hart for young players and picks, and just roll with young players. Obviously not all of those guys would be moved, but all made available.

We are on a 2 game losing streak so everyone is in their feelings a bit...

But I have never been a Lonzo believer. I've been wanting to move him since we got him and I still do. I just don't know what we could get for him.

I think Teddy's right in that Charlotte might see the most value in him and they do actually have a decent amount of young guards and wings that the Pels could find useful.

There will always be a market for Ball. He gets irrational hate. People are gonna champion for NAW but don’t realize he’s only a year younger than Ball and way behind him in development

Ball has shot 37% on 453 3PA since joining the Pels. Hat tip for improving in that area. Better % than guys like Beal, Trae Young, Luca, Donavan Mitchell and a host of others over the same period. We love to focus on his misses but the best miss 60% of the time from 3.

His situation will sort itself out just fine

Yes Charlotte has been the rumor from the moment they drafted Lamelo.

It does make a lot of sense...I'm just not sure MJ is THAT dumb. I hope he is.

Could we get Graham and Monk for him?

I don't know how to judge Charlotte's players to be honest.
