And yes, he is playing as of late, like a massive piece for us.

And by me saying that, doesn’t mean I think he’s more valuable than jru, BI, or Zion

At some point Lonzo might have become our most important player. His intelligence is so valuable to this team.

He's just a really stabilizing force that puts everyone in the right spots at points in the game when things could start to crumble.

He has been a good PG for this squad, not disagreeing with that at all. But to say he’s our most important player????? Mind boggling. Exactly my point also.

Ball is not our most important player, that would be Zion, Jrue, and BI. Its like Jrue didnt put up 37/8/9 tonight to lead us to the win.

Favors and Ball are in the conversation after Zion/Jrue/BI as far as pecking order. Our 13 game losing streak coincided with Favors injury, and he’s basically giving us 9/10 with a per of 19/20 in 25 minutes a game. Ball’s PER is 13/14 to compare.

He can absolutely fill it up if he needs to. Great vision and feel for the game.

Most important and best are two different things. He makes things really work, and when he turns the ball over he hustles back to make a play. I can’t count how many times he’s screwed up, only to cause a turn over and make a picture perfect pass to swing the momentum back.

His improvement has been tremendous. In the beginning/middle of the year, every time he shot, I cringed. Even if it went in, it felt lucky. Now, I am surprised when his shot doesn't fall. He used to have some major clanks on 3's and balls slammed off the backboard on layup attempts.Lately, even his misses are generally spot on with a lot of rim outs that could/should have gone in. His is shooting 41% from 3 in his last 25 games. Before the season,I would have been happy if he made 41% of his 2 pointers. Maybe not part of the "core 3" but he is definitely part of the core of this team.

I think the last time he watched was when Jrue owned dame. Still trying to figure out why he keeps bringing that up

Yeh I just watched Jrue light it up for 37 points and 8 assists yesterday. He lead us to the win.

The poster above and the 5 morons who liked his post. Literally saying Ball is our most important player the same day Jrue goes apeshit and leads us to victory. Rant logic

Because it was fricking awesome and brought Jrue nationwide respect, even though this board dogs him out constantly. It was a masterpiece. Jrue dismantled Dame in the playoffs. I’ll never stop talking about that arse whupping because it deserves the praise it gets. Why you want to forget about it for? It was delightful.

Oh right you want to forget it so you can bash Jrue and pump Lonzo. Lol, ridiculous.

Ball is not apart of this teams core three clown. Thats Zion/BI/Jrue.

I would argue he is part of the core 4. Given Jrue's age, I can see how some would refer to him as part of a longer term core 3.

As it stands right now, I doubt the Pels will pay Jrue and Zo big money in a couple of seasons, and barring Zo's growth falling off a cliff he'll likely be the long term guy over Jrue.

Arguable, I wouldnt say youre wrong or far off if we’re talking about a core 4. I mentioned that above but youre too busy flaming to be reasonable or read. I listed Favors/Ball as next most important beyond BI/Zion/Jrue at this point in the season.

I would say Derrick Favors is 4 and Ball 5 in terms of importance at this point, since Favors is putting up 9/10 in 25 minutes a game with a PER of 18/20. Ball is playing more minutes, and numbers are decent at 12/6/7, but his PER is still 13/14, etc. This is what I posted already.

And folks arent talking about a core 4, we got dudes on this page saying Ball’s the most important player on the team and getting upvoted, when Im getting downvoted for saying BI/Zion/Jrue are the MIP on this team. Again, as if Jrue didnt go ape shite YESTERDAY to lead us to the win. 37 and 8 dude.

I love Jrue. He is a consummate pro and when AD was being a bitch, Jrue went out and did his job. With that said, Jrue’s value to this team May be in a trade. Zo, BI. And Zion are all close in age, and all can become elite. Jrue, if he were 5 years younger, sure. At this stage, with this team, he deserves to be moved to a team that is on his timeline.
