Why are we not allowed to celebrate a player who many doubted and has exceeded expectations? Don't you want the whole team to do well p bean? Cheering Lonzo's success takes nothing away from Zion/BI/Jrue

LOL, ok, sureeeeeeeeee. The stats are all “made up”
This board. Goodness gracious.
Well since I made up Jrue destroying Dame Lillard in the playoffs, I’ll just remind you that Dame Lillard was 4th in MVP voting that year, and Jrue made him his bitch.

Thats the point. This not unexpected. Zo averaging 12/6/6 is EXPECTED. Those are his stats. Deal with it. Its not allstar numbers. He is a nice starter so far. It was a surprise because he was hurt again to start this season.

????
What about me saying Jrue crushed Dame Lillard in the same year he was 4th in the MVP voting make me seem like a 12 year old girl??????? Thats what 12 year old yeard girls talk about nowadays????? Shut the frick up dude.

People are not thinking like that. It is more people eating crow because they overreacted a few weeks into the season. I thought Zo would be a Jason Kidd type player and I still do. He has the intangibles and has a natural feel for the game. Just wait till he perfects the ultra fast break where he tries to outrun the defense to collapse it or get a layup

Ball jrue zion as the core 3?
Over Ingram Jrue Zion?
Posts like this are my point.

I don’t know what he meant by Core 3, but to me core piece doesn’t mean he’s a max player. Just that he’s an integral part of what you’re building.
Look at what he does for Zion with his passing. Even if Lonzo is just a Rubio level player, there aren’t many Rubios available, especially in the right age range. With a player like Zion that kind of passing ability has more value to the Pels than it would most teams.

This board talks about Zo more than Zion.
There have been literally nearly 460 threads started about Zion on this board

Zo isnt more core, max, whatever you want to call it over Brandon Ingram. To list a big 3 for the Pels that is Zo/Zion/jrue and not BI/Zion/jrue is retarded. And exactly my point about this retarded Zo obsession.
BI is putting up 24/6/4 shooting 38% from 3, 50% in fg, and 86% in free throws. And I believe there was a hatred Kobe comparison thread on here a day ago. Not in a positive way either. Its senseless.
Zo is putting up 12/6/6 and this board cant stop talking about it every good game he has. Massive piece blah blah.

Yeah, that's stupid but some people are letting Ingram's slump feed their confirmation bias. They are convinced he's a ballhog and not a much needed scorer and when ever he slumps they feel vindicated. As if him having an All Star season this year can be ignored. I never claimed everyone here made good posts.

To be fair Lonzo has had maybe his best week or 2 as a pro this past week at a time where teams have started selling out hard to slow down Zion and Ingram has been slumping.

You are doing a lot of the heavy lifting in keeping this thread going. If you want to change the conversation, you don't tell people you have no control over to STFU, you give them something else to talk about. Start one of these threads about Ingram or Zion you feel we're missing.
Posted on 3/8/20 at 3:24 pm to TigerinATL
Yeah its fricking stupid, and its also my point.
Yeah no shite Zo has played well in response to the extra attention given to BI/Zion. Thats why this thread is overblown and you look at seasons and half seasons to determine if a corner is turned for a player. Not a few good games
Uhh, You think this is the first Lonzo thread? Its constant Zo on here.

Been as many or more about Zo. Zo outnumbers Zion on the page one.

The only comments Ive made are posting stats. I like Zo, I just dont see him as the massive piece this board proclaims. He’s developed into a starter for this squad, and a good one so far. He benefits from playing with Zion, and the Gentry offense.
But, he has averaged basically his career average. The surprise is he has finally been healthy, this is easily the most games he’s played in a season. He has not been a an allstar and doesnt deserve praise over the stars on this team.
Just a few posts above this one is a post saying the core of this team is Zo/Zion/Jrue and not BI/Zion/Jrue. And threads recently on here have bashed BI and praised Zo repeatedly, etc., its retarded.
BI is averaging 24/6/4 and is sniffing the illustrious 40/50/90 club. And this board thinks he sucks, and loves Zo.
Also, ZION helps Zo. ZION is the one who makes Zo’s game come together. Not vice versa. fricking Pels talk. Zion and Zo are good together; because ZION is the FREAK who makes Zo’s game valuable. Not the other way around.
Actual stats here for you also:
“ "It's a part of the game. Just let it go, and I'll be all right," Russell said.
BIG BALLER
Williamson's arrival has been a big lift for the entire team, let alone the league, but the player who has benefited the most has been Ball. The third-year point guard, who was part of the package from the Lakers in the deal that sent Anthony Davis to Los Angeles, has sent 34% of his assists to Williamson. The next-closest teammate is Ingram at, entering the game, 15%.”

Without reading all your posts,
Zo has been a stud of late. His shooting has gotten better and his passing is elite. Going forward, it’ll be great to watch BI, Zion, and Zo grow and mature together. I honestly think they all compliment each other very well. I saw grow and mature because they are all so young. Doesn’t mean I don’t think Jru is valuable. But Zo is flashing some elite traits that make people excited. Is that so bad?
