Hilarious and pretty hypocritical bait seeing that “Trump supporters” have essentially been declared terrorists in this country.

So you're admitting your hypocrisy , I'm wondering if you even realize you just did that

What would you pay Hart Gyno?

Don’t think he earned a pay increase, though I’m sure he will get one. I don’t believe he’s any better than say an OKC Kenrich

Wait, you don't think Josh Hart is worth more than $3.5 million per year?

I'd be cool with around $10 per year for Hart, anything higher and I'll just roll with Naji to fill that role.

I think he will get MLE money.

But I’ve been saying for awhile... can WE afford to pay Hart and Lonzo? We had both on rookie deals and we sucked. How would paying them a huge amount of money make us better?

People who would pay Hart more than 10m per better not be the same people who are saying they don’t want to pay Lonzo 18m+. It’s clear that Hart isn’t a shooter and won’t be a starter in this league. As much as I like Hart he won’t be worth the money he will want unless he gets better at shooting 3s so we should probably let him walk.

Outside of accruing years in the league and a cap that will rise slightly over the next few years, I don’t think there’s an element to his game you can point to and say this guy deserves more money.

He was afforded extra minutes on a bad team. Don’t think his current skillset is one that garners a double digit AAV. He’s should be a 20 mpg guy a la Kenrich Williams

Hart should be and will be MLE level pay, around 10 million a year.

If you feel he can improve more and you want to make that commitment to him, then you give him a 4/48, but that should be the ceiling. At 4/48 he's still a positive asset, and that salary is very useful in a trade.

I don't know what to say, if you think Hart is worth a max of $3.5mil a year

That wasn't my question, and you just said he's not worth more than $3.5mil, so obviously you don't think he should garner double digits.

At that price, you'd have to start him. Do we see him as a starting SG in this offense for the next 4 years?

No, you really don't. That is the price for good/great 6th men, which yes Hart is a part of.

a sixth man who can’t score. In no way is Hart worth 12 mil a year. I’ll pack his bags for him at that price

Utah just resigned 6th man of the year Jordan Clarkson and he's making $13 the next 3 years. And Clarkson was in the 6th man conversation before resigning. I'm not even sure the league would agree that Hart is a 6th man rather than just a backup wing. If Naji didn't develop Hart would have had a lot more leverage on the Pels, but they have absolutely no reason to overpay him.

Not every player has to score 20 points per game to be a good player....

not disagreeing with the take of him being a solid role player. But in no way is he labeled a 6th man when he’s only averaging 9 pts and doesn’t shoot particularly well

hart is a case where his willingness to try hard endears to fans.

not having the 3 pt shot % makes him just another guy.

want more pay? Go and be happy.
take a cut. retire a pel in 8 years. and please work on that 3 ptr.

For all the folks that need a reminder Josh Hart is great to elite at the following:

Rebounding for his position
Fastbreaks
Finishing at the rim
Hustle plays

So 3.5 million a year? I would think every team in the league would take him for 8 million per.

I'm not as big of a Hart fan as most, but saying he hasnt done anything to deserve over 3.5 per is one of worst TDGM takes of late.

He doesn't space remotely well enough to garner a ton.

He doesn't do any of those things you list consistently outside of rebounding and hustling.

I'd rather let him walk and pay ball. At least the constant improvement is worth a gamble.
