This rumor doesn't even make any sense. The Magic already have a better version of JJ in Evan Fournier, as we saw yesterday. They don't need Redick.

No. He’s from Virginia and he lives in Brooklyn when not NBA’ing. Orlando just drafted him.
Magic have Ross and Fournier at SG. For salary matching purposes one of them or Gordon would have to be involved. Just doesn’t make a ton of sense.

JJ has a place on a team that is so devoid of shooting. With Vucevic being out the Magic's offense has been carried by Evan. When Evan is out of the game, that team is a shite show offensively

JJ came here because he is BFFs with the GM. If he does get traded it will be because he asks out and it will not be to a playoff also ran like the Magic, it will be to a contender.
