It would be sweet if a team falls in love with a guy at 7 where the pels will likely pick

Can get a 2020 first and a useful player

Two teens picks to develop and assets to go after someone who somehow becomes available later

We need to try to receive 2021 picks. The 1 and done rule will be abolished. The draft talent could be deep with the high school graduates and the 1 year freshmen entering the draft at the same time.

Yea, but because of that teams probably won’t be willing to give that pick up right now. You would have to trade with a team who is good now, and hope things fall apart for them later.

Take the pick.

I don’t think you can trade Brown for a top 6 pick next year. And if he plays well, you may end up in an E. Gordon situation where you have to sign him to a long deal.

Don’t over think it, take the pick.

If the pick is top 6 next year the Grizzlies keep it. The following year it is unprotected but I expect the Grizzlies to be trending up from their reset by then. They'd have to win the lottery for this pick to be in the top 5 by the time it conveys.

Does anyone else think that Brown becomes a wing version of Jrue?

Tatum is becoming average real quick. Averaging 4 points in this series... wow. Celtics better up the offer.

No one's going to crap on the guy for 2 rough games(at least offensively) against the 1 seed when both are outliers compared to his playoff career so far.

He's had a rough series shooting but he just averaged nearly 20 a game on 50% FG against an elite pacers defense and last year goes without saying.

Now actually make an argument of whatever it is you're actually arguing.

But I'd prefer Brown to the Grizz pick but don't think u keep him and Jrue together. Jrue would have to be traded

Lol. Most people on here wanted the Grizz pick which turned out to be #14. I wanted Brown and trade Jrue for more assets. A year later Jrue is traded anyway. Brown is now an all star. Another example of the majority of the board including Crewz being wrong….

How many needed to get an invite to the elite board?

Ahh yes the elite board, where only knowledgeable fans can go to talk. Let’s see Crewz’s take in this thread,

Wanted the Grizz pick over Brown:
Outcome - pick ended up being 14, Brown turns into an all star…..

Wasn’t high on Tatum at all and didn’t think Tatum and Brown could co-exist on the same team.

quote:

I'm sorry, I have tried to not totally bash Tatum and instead just imply he wasn't that great. But I just keep watching and I want nothing to do with him

quote:

As for Brown, if you recall what I said was you can't bring both he and Tatum here long term

Outcome - Tatum and Brown are now both young Allstars as teammates and the future of the Celtics….

Woof….

Who needs an elite board with that kinda insight? I mean he pulled a Griff 2020 before Griff did. Every single take he had was wrong……
