While I don't have a specific date or timeline my understanding is we are close to the end of the Pelicans head coaching search.
I've been saying for over a week that I believe Steve Hetzel is the choice and still think that.
Jamahl Mosley also remains a possibility

I wish Hetzel had been on teams that were more competitive in the past, but I don’t hate us taking the upside swing with him. I would much rather him then Ham or Borrego

This could be said for every Pels "beat writer" in history. We legit have no one with inside info.

You realize what all these guys are doing, both the local yo-yos like Jake Madison and the national guys posting about this.
Everyone knows the 5-6 names on the list, so they each pick 2-3, claim their "sources" are telling them that, and are rolling the dice that the winner will be from their list.
If they are right, they will never shut up about it. If they are wrong, they are counting no one will remember what they had said.
At this point, all these guys, including Madison, are just making things up. Say what you want about Dumars, he's learned from Loomis how to keep the boat watertight shut. They ain't letting anyone know what their plans are.

Agree, it’s the approach teams who can’t get their first choice of coaches have to take. The Saints may end up with a quality coach in Moore but we were publicly declined by many and Moore was ultimately Loomis’ 5th or beyond choice.
Media leak trial balloons and misinformation are the ways of franchises often viewed at the bottom of the pecking order.

I don't mind PPP. i don't listen to them but don't mind them. But I'm not going to link their tweets like they have anything relevant to say or have any sources. Justin's opinion is worth the same as a random poster on tigerdroppings.

Its not like we have a bunch of people doing long form Pelicans content man.
We need to encourage groups like PPP.
I do think they get a little repetitive and sometimes it just gets old listening to the same negativity all the time. I get it, there is nothing to be positive about with this franchise.
I also can't stand that Chaz guy, he just sucks. The rest of them are pretty good though.

Like I said, I don't mind them. Certainly not discouraging them to do what they are doing. If I had to listen to a Pels podcast, I'd probably listen to them. One of the guys voice is incredibly annoying so it made for a harder listen when I did listen from time to time, maybe it was the Chaz guy.
