New Orleans Pelicans have a monster in a determined Brandon Ingram this off-season, I’m told. Ingram’s been taking full advantage of NOLA’s practice facility & doing two-a-day workouts this week. Yesterday morning/afternoon Ingram was doing shooting and cardio in session one. In his second session yesterday, Ingram was doing weight training.

I love HONEST reporting on the Pels. I heard Griffin even played piano for Brandon during practice.

Ingram did deny a homeless man money in the parking lot, I’m sure that guy will report back to Pels Talk later.

Where's Zion? Shouldn't he be there along side BI?

If Ingram’s doing two a days Zion better be doing four a days.

You never hear about how hard zion works. Ingram may get injured too but everyone always talks about how hard the guy works and trains.

Has there been one story like that about zion? Look like we’re in for more of the same shite with Zion this year

Whoa slow down.
Zion dosen't feel like zion yet.

Zion is doing his 2 a days at the Golden Corral in the morning and the Asian super buffet in the afternoon.
No rest, all gas

Had a setback doing warm up windmill dunks before Ingram’s workout session.

One wonders if that will continue through the 2023-2023 season.

Someone makes a nice thread about BI, and the board hikacks it into yet another Zion-hate thread, with people making jokes for the hundredth time that weren't even funny the first time.

I used to like this place. I guess that I'm just getting old and have less tolerance for insipid immaturity, because this is not new here. I can remember times when every single thread would get hijacked.

I would be interested to see what kind of programs Ingram runs and how he would project his outcomes. I have no doubt he trains hard. All that weight training does not seem to have an effect. He has filled out some, but he is still listed under 200lbs. Is that intentional?

I'm not saying he should be super jacked. Maybe his build is maxed out and the trainers are holding him to this level. It just seems odd, for 5 years we having been hearing he needs/wants to add bulk. It's just a very slow process.

My comments are more of an indictment against our training staff, who I have no confidence in physically developing players. I'd be happy to hear Ingram was at a specialized facility elsewhere getting the proper instruction..

Yes, Jesus fricking Christ, does no one remember the piece about Zion waking up at 5am every fricking day to get his body right?

Last off season was nothing but skinny Zion articles.

I feel like media doesn’t really care too much for Zion anymore, but that’s what happens when you spend your career on the sidelines.

i think there was a noticeable difference in BI this past year in regards to his strength. He had no problem backing people down and getting his shot off using his strength first, then his length.

What he needs to work on more is his handle when smaller guys are guarding him, b/c we saw a lot of hands getting on the basketball creating turnovers late in games down the stretch of the season when games got a little more intense.

That's great and all, I applaud him, but I'm not buying any offseason hype bullshite this year.

I want to see players healthy and playing during the season, and I want to see them finally give a frick about Offense.

Healthy through March goddammit. I don't care if we have the best record in December. We need to be good when it matters most.
