In three games vs Mavs, Dort has 16 fouls. He had 12 in four vs us

Combination of bullshite officiating and our complete inability to sell a call. Plus Willie being a total bitch

Or he’s guarding a superior player with a higher usage, so of course his foul rate would increase.

Ingram is soft as hell but he was getting raped too. Same way Dylan Brooks can hack the shite out of our guys with no calls.

I’d rather not watch than watch a team embrace foul baiting.
I haven’t been a fan of Brandon Ingram’s for a while now, but I respect the hell out of him and Zion actually playing basketball instead of flailing around and throwing their bodies all over like fricking maniacs.

I would respect them more if they did whatever possible to win a basketball game. They’re paid to be winners not to play more respectable basketball that basically costs them and us points and most importantly wins. Even the great Jordan and Kobe foul baited- its part of the game.

You guys really think an obnoxious complaining coach gets favorable calls? Not the case.in today’s NBA you get better results from just talking to an official about a problem. In the games I watch that seems to be the smarter approach.

I also think a coach who never argues or shows any emotion on any calls also gets no results. Theres a good medium and Willie is on the complete complacent opposite side of the spectrum.

Postseason permits more contact, counter is to force contact and draw fouls if they're playing you like that. Team can help by setting off-ball screens to free up your player. Dort's been in the league for a while and is a very good but not an all NBA defender that he looked like against the Pels. Dallas has been helping to free up Luca but once Luca gets the ball he'll shoot or maintain his dribble driving into midrange. I think the whole universe knows the Pels elbow action.

Actually save Naji and Val in spots no one played physical against the Thunder.

frick that.
The solution shouldn’t be our stars need to play more like bitches.
The refs need to be better.

Hmm and do you think that solution will ever happen? You can stop watching the NBA if you expect that to happen. The easier solution is to find stars who take advantage of the situations and use that to win. I like my bitch arse players to have rings on their fingers for nola, rather than the “im not a bitch” basketball players getting swept in the first round.

If you want them to sell their souls to win a game that you no longer even want to watch, then what’s the point?
I watch the nba because I enjoy nba basketball. But I absolutely hate foul baiting losers. If the team whose games I watch exponentially more than anyone else ever turned into that brand of basketball, I’d just quit watching.

I enjoy watching the NBA. Selling their souls because they foul bait? - you guys are acting like a bunch of drama queens. I hope you were proud of Ingram for not foul baiting as well.
Yes foul baiting can be a bit annoying but this has been going on for a while in the league- the difference is viral clips and social media replaying shite over and over. Its not so bad that I can’t enjoy a game. If its that bad- just quit watching. Maybe you can watch the nfl and mlb where the refs do such a great job there lol

I’ve already said that there’s a point where I’ll quit watching.
I’ve hated foul baiting for a long, long time. I hated when CP3 did it, though it was nothing like what you see today.
I couldn’t watch the James Harden Rockets. I don’t regularly watch Philly or Dallas because I absolutely hate those brands of basketball.
And you’re absolutely incorrect that it’s only perceived as bad today because it’s amplified via social media. It’s been bad for at least the last decade and it’s at its worst right now.

So according to you its been bad for a decade and you continue watching the NBA? So basically if the average fan is like you bitching about foul baiting but still watching the NBA- why do you think they would care?
I mean you don’t enjoy watching it but still continue watching the NBA. Do you think the problem is the NBA or the avg viewer like you?
Yet according to you my head is in the sand yet you’ve been watching a shitty product for ten years and still haven’t quit.

I literally just said I won’t watch teams/players that play that way. I’ve also said that there’s a line I’ll draw and it’s when my favorite team participates in it, as well.
I don’t know how to be any clearer for you.

So you only watch the pelicans and every shitty team in the NBA. Because most good to great teams have guys who foul bait. I guess you must really enjoy when the pistons and wizards play since they don’t foul bait. Sounds like amazing basketball.

I’ve identified players who I don’t care to watch who I believe are egregious. I prefer watching teams that just play basketball.
Regardless, I’ve yet again fallen into the bottomless pit of engaging with you in the slightest. My mistake.
