How can we view him as a reliable piece?

And this is what fricks me off the most about these entitled so called star players. The reason this team has lost 10 in a row is because neither BI or Zion can ever stay fricken healthy. But they will both be the first to complain and say that NOLA couldn't build a team around them.

Give me break!

Pathetic. Beyond pathetic. Looks like an unreliable bust compared to JA.

Zion and BI are certainly injury prone, but they might still have a point about that. The coaching staff has no offensive gameplan but: “Give it to Zion.” He got hurt because he was required to be our entire offense and be active every play every game. If they had a more balanced offense we could have balanced his load more and given him some plays off. To me his injury was on BI being out and Willie’s offense.

Yep Zion and BI will request a trade and new orleans will be shite on when these guys never gave us a chance to build around them cuz they were never healthy. CP3, AD yeah we failed them, they were healthy enough to build around. Not Zion and BI. This is one of the deepest teams ive seen in NOLA and they've been let down by the "stars"

Do they? We were the 1 seed when we were healthy.

We didn't ask him to do more than Luka does every night or Giannis or Embiid or Jokic does every night.

That's what top 5 players do. If he can't do that without an injury, we have major issues. It may not be his fault, per se, but that's a Zion issue, not Pels issue. If you want to be a top 5 player, you must do things that the other top 5 players do.

Again, Luka does it every single night for multiple years.

100%

Not a fan of melting about something that may or may not happen 2 years from now, but we absolutely have a legit team around our best 2 players, like we could not do in the past.

BI certainly is, Zion is not, at least i think you cannot label him that yet.

BI has had more injuries this year than Zion has had in his career.

Besides the times missed for the MCL and the foot, Zion has only had a bruised arse from a bad fall and this hamstring strain. The rest of his missed time was a false positive covid test in his second season, and getting covid this season.

Unfortunately, I fear that Zion is like a supremely talented bruising RB.

Unstoppable while young, except for injuries, but set up for a short career.

What?

Zion has played 114 games in his career. Since he came into the league, Ingram has played 197 games.

I have no idea what your plan is here, Zion is averaging about 30 games played per season for 4 years now.

Yep. This team is far deeper than any AD team and has assets to get better, but none of that fricking matters because our "stars" don't play basketball games

Ingram played more games in his first 2 years in nola than zion has in his career. If 114 games in 4 years isnt injury prone then what is?

injury prone then what is?

Injury probe is having multiple small injuries all the time, or the same recurring injury over and over like a torn ACL. Thats not Zion

Like 3 out of 4 seasons?

Zion has missed wayyyyyyy more time to injury than BI, but he's not injury prone like BI? This doesn't make sense.

No its not semantics, if you want to try to say a guy that missed a majority of his time due to two injuries is injury prone, then 95% of the NBA should be considered injury prone.

Are you saying 95% of the NBA has only played in 41% of possible games? Show me all these players other than embiid that played 41% of their games in 4 years.
