Go count how many years out of college it took you to earn $900k and get back with us.

900k relative to other nba players isn’t much. I have nothing against him and hope he succeeds, however I watched him play a lot and I hate a lot of things about his game. He plays like a way less skilled and way less talented Cousins, without the playmaking ability. It’s a lot of low IQ basketball.

If Reid didn’t go to LSU no one would be saying shite about him. No one on here would think he’s some amazing prospect.

Relative to most poor kids from Asbury Park, it's a lifetime of earnings.

Nobody has implied he's an amazing prospect. People are calling out a couple morons who claimed he wasn't a legitimate NBA prospect.

I always thought Naz's skills would translate to the NBA. TBH, I thought Tremont's would've too.

To be fair the whole league was wrong considering Naz didn’t get drafted. Good for him for molding his game and becoming a solid bench big

No this board has a problem with new ideas. If it’s not their idea you’re an idiot to them

Glad to see Naz has carved out a bench role, but it’s not like he would have moved the needle for the Pels.

Omg guys! Somebody on the internet was wrong about an opinion on a role player 3 years ago!

Seriously who waits that long to bump a thread? Really strange considering the entire point of a sports message board is to voice your opinion.

I always thought the Naz thing was pretty weird. Dude was super skilled for a guy his size and did the other things you expect someone that size to do, pretty decently. I never doubted he would be an NBA rotational guy.

Tremont on the other hand...

What a weird bump for a guy averaging 10/4/1. He would be what our 11th or 12th man? Only people he definitively is playing over is Hayes and Temple.

He bumped it the day after Reid went for 27/13 in a victory over the Mavs. It was a great performance. I can understand someone getting excited about it..

It’s also silly because there was a reason he went undrafted even though he is/was an NBA talent. There was already rumblings that he wasn’t the hardest worker and then he recorded a BMI at the combine that was the worst of the draft class and one of the worst recorded at the time. The fact that he has clearly dedicated himself to make the changes he needed to in order to stick in the league is admirable. However, I wouldn’t take a victory lap on what would be best described as a lucky guess.

This thread says more about LSU basketball fans than anything, imo

Tari Eason is another one that was mocked on this board as a lottery selection. He made all-rookie and is an impactful player for the rockets every time he steps on the court (hopefully this leg injury thing gets sorted)

Watching these LSU players every game gives us clear insight into their flaws that we don’t get with the other prospects we have less exposure to

I’m on my phone and absent mindedly opened this thread. I thought I was having another neurological event, frickers, until I looked closely at the dates!

Bumping this thread doesn’t make sense now that Naz is on his 2nd contract
