Team Lithuania with JV gave JJJ fits vs. Team USA. I just hope Pels coaching staff remembers this and doesn’t go away from JV.

I’d like to see Zion and BI give effort the entire game. Not just when they have the ball in their hand.

Game 1 can't go better than last year's and that didn't mean anything. So unless Dyson comes out and looks like Devin Booker, I don't think anything could move me.

Santi Aldama is out tonight. Team is going to be very small.
If JJJ runs into foul trouble early Memphis will be at a huge disadvantage.
This good be a very good game for points under the basket, i.e. Val and Zion

Things I am watching for:
-Zion consistent effort on D
-JV was short/flat on every shot in the preseason.
-How many 3's does BI take?
- With Trey and Jose out, can one of either Dyson, Kira, or Hawkins step up and give us some offense? They desperately need outside shooting
-Do players look like they know where they should be on offense?
- Herb and CJ looked great in preseason.... hopefully that translates

Particularly looking for both Val and Zion to have double-double, CJ to score over 10, and the Pels to cover the spread.

Agreed. Memphis front court depth is horrendous right now. Forget 3s, we should attack paint all night. If we stick to game plan this should be a win. Zion and JV should have big games.
