How in the world are we here again?

How has this franchise had people like baron davis, dan dickau, chris paul, david west, anthony davis, and Zion and not been able to do jack squat in 20+ years in New Orleans?

So bad that I think were approaching if they moved the team to another city people in New Orleans wouldnt care territory

Yeah this team has been a lot worse. The issues though are effort. You can tell they’re not trying. Theres enough talent to be somewhat competitive not score 28 and be down by 30.

I have a hard time putting Zion in with those other guys. (Yes, even with Dan)
Those other guys seemingly worked their arse off and we just werent competent enough to help them.
Zion seemingly is a fat loaf of a man who just wanted to get by on whatever athleticism he had left.
It pisses me off that we have probably the 2nd most talented team NO has ever had and the main guy doesnt even like basketball all that much.
We failed guys like Paul and Davis but Zion failed us.

The trajectory of this franchise changed after the '08 season. We lost game 7 at home to the Spurs. Should have fired Scott on the spot. Then the front office did nothing to improve the roster except bring in an aging bench role player from the Heat. Had a real chance to add legit players to Paul, West, Chandler, Peja, and be at the top of the west. Choked it away in the front office.
