Why didn't we get rid of Gentry? Things were supposed to turn around this year, but it worse than ever.

Lol, this year was suppose to be “the future”. The organization is a shite show, it’s always next year.

Did anyone think we would be 6-20 at this point? Imagine if we didn’t get the #1 pick and didn’t land Zion. That’s scary to think about.

I dont think we thought Ingram and Hayes would be this good this soon. Our front court for the future is pretty damn good looking. No one expected Jrue to play this inconsistent. And of course, we are missing our best player. The Lakers arent where they are if AD was out the whole year up till now.

Of course I didnt think we’d be as bad as we currently are. But damnit, Im still happy with the future.

Fun fact: kd and Westbrook led okc won 23 games. 4th worst record in the league. 4th worst differential.

Gentry

He only has 5 winning seasons out of his 17 year head coaching career. His best W/L% is 65% lol

We went from a veteran team built around a top 10 player in his prime and a top 30ish player in his prime (when he's not asked to be #1)

To

A young team built around a Lakers core that couldn't make the playoffs with LeBron -- only we switched out LeBron with Jrue -- and some 19 year olds that will be really good in 2-3 years but are raw (and injured) right now.

The AD/Jrue teams always needed luck to make the playoffs. If you thought this team could make the playoffs without the best case scenario of injury/luck going their way, I don't know what to tell you.

I'm not saying this team shouldn't be playing better than it is, it should, and I think it will if it can ever get reasonably healthy, but anyone upset because we aren't solidly a top 8 seed right now came into the season with unrealistic expectations, especially after Zion went down and Favors went MIA.

Then followed it up with 50 wins the following season

People just dont have patience..

And, as a young team we are inexperienced in closing, WHEN we learn how to close, that's at least 6-7 more wins we would have this season alone..

Factor in the injuries, and you can see why our record is what it is. We are not as bad as our record indicates though

This year was never going to be the year that the Pels are a legitimate contender. With this roster, it’s at least a year away, best estimate.

Agree. I was like a broken record, saying this was not a playoff season. I was just hoping that we were.within arguable striking distance by April. We’d better get on the stick soon for that to happen.

there are several keepers.
Guys i would have been very happy with:
Herro
clarke
Morant
Coby white
I think they will make all rookie first team.
