Except Ariza can't shoot 3's.

Ariza got exposed last year when not playing next to Kobe/Pau. Highly inefficient offensive season for him if I recall.

Just a good role player, good system player especially in lakers system.

Will probably look worse in NOLA the way Okafor looked worse after Charlotte.

Just hope David West's attitude doesn't rub off on him.

Taylor had a great summer. He and Bud along with Battier make up a nice rotation. Lee is the better fit in Houston.

Well, I think this will give us a somewhat better starting five

it certainly does

we have length and defensive ability on the perimeter for once

He was our trading chip to unload Posey.

he was a chip worthy of unloading okafor

DC was seriously THIS CLOSE to being an elite point guard last year...as a rookie.

but it makes us better.

short term

is this the best long-term deal?

young posey isn't really much different than ariza

But we didn't have young Posey, we had old fat Posey.

I don't know why y'all don't get my boy Flip Murray. he can back up both guard spots.

I'd like to think this deal won't end up standing alone.

way more important to get rid of Posey at this point than Okafor. plus we can't go into this season without him if we're trying to convince CP that we're trying to put something together. Okafor's still a Top 10 center. someone will trade for him at some point, most likely Toronto.

Prob. so, this could all end up being a master plan package deal to get Melo later on.

For Darren Collison. Demps just made Posey disappear like a magic trick.

No.

I'm saying there could be other moves coming.

Ariza and Thornton compliment each other nicely.

The Rockets paid the championship-tax for Ariza last year, we might as well continue the Posey trend (although Ariza is younger).

I think Ariza makes the hornets better. CP3 will make him a better player. He will shoot better and he is an upgrade on defense.

Last Season: PPG 14.9, RPG 5.6, APG 3.8

04/14/2009 vs NO Hornets: 26pts, 10reb, 10ast
who was the last Hornet SF to post a triple double.
