Don't think both Zo and Graham would be going to Chicago.

It could be possible if they're sending White out.

Something like:
Chicago
Lonzo 4/84
Graham 4/48

Charlotte
Lauri 4/60

Pels
Young
White

That's the only thing I could see that would make sense if both Ball and Graham would go to Chicago

Update on my update: Could very well be Lonzo and Graham in double sign-and-trade, but *NOT* with Lonzo Ball going to Charlotte. Bulls remain very much in play for Ball. Could end up a very complex transaction if this happens.

Hollinger
That would fit Griffin's M.O. He likes the complex deals.

Yeah, could be Markkanen going to Charlotte, maybe

Could be sending whatever the Bulls were offering us for Ball's S&T to the Hornets for a S&T Graham?

I can't stand Hollinger, but either he knows something on this one, or he's getting fed some very specific BS, because he's updated that article 3 different times in about an hour with more details on what we're doing.

What's not interesting about it? White is under control for 2 more seasons at 5 and 7 million, so you have time to see how he comes back from the injury, and he would be elite in a 6th man role. Young would just be a Zion backup as an expiring.

It would be a deal that's intriguing as frick, and keeps all flexibility along with adding more trade pieces, rather than getting an undersized guard in Graham at 12+ million.

He also knew about our draft preferences. I'd guess he still has Memphis connections and Memphis is being kept in the loop because they're kind of involved in the bigger trade.

Most likely, though it could be he knew from info gathered from Murphy and his UVA connections.

Not sure he would be "elite" but do think White could be a really nice 6th man type and Young is a nice backup big.

Doesn't solve the lead Guard issue at all. If Griffin still has other plans for it then bringing in White and Young would be pretty nice as backups.

What is Devonte Graham good at??? He has never shot above 38% from THE FIELD in an NBA season. And he’s one of the worst defenders in basketball. And sucks at passing.

I wanted Rozier before he even went to Charlotte. Wanted to pair him back with Tatum and Brown in the AD trade….

Any capologists want to weigh in on what we would look like if we:

Sent Ball to Chicago and got back White/Young as part of larger deal

Did S&T with Nets getting Dinwiddie at say 20ish a year, giving Nets a TPE or 2nd.

Would we be able to take on any other players in S&Ts? MLE? BAE?

How far from Tax Line and hard cap?

Maybe Dragic is an actual possibility, but I also don't see what White provides except for scoring points off the bench.

That is something we need though. I just thought it would be a vet like THJ or Fournier.

Plus you still don't know what you're doing with Kira. If he isn't starting, and you're bringing in White then why are you holding onto this guy?. I know he's still young, but isn't that one of the reasons to move Bledsoe? If we aren't going to give him minutes at the position he is best at, then I would rather include him in a trade for someone valuable and have a vet run the backup PG spot.

I figured up a couple days ago, if we signed Lowry to a deal that gave him 34 million this season, and gave Hart 10 million, that would have us about 18-21 million below the tax line.

So give Spencer 20 million, Young's 14, and White's 5 should have us about 13 million from the tax, still enough room to use MLE and BAE

The Ball S&T would be easy, and the Memphis deals is capable of bringing back a ton(over $30 million) if expanded, not to mention other players could be added from the Pels. So getting Dinwiddie is very doable.

Luxury tax should not be much concern this season, it’s in three seasons when Zion gets maxed that you have to pre plan for.
