There’s no objective reason for keeping Gentry past this season. Even during the AD era, his teams were plagued with turnovers and inconsistencies. Atkinson is waiting.

If Griff keeps Gentry, I might hate him even more than Uncle Al.

But stipulating circumstances will keep him here is what alot of people say. Zero excuse for keeping him past Orlando. "Promote" him or fire him.

Griff is a terrible GM. I’ve been saying this for months and getting blasted for it.

Everyone wants to discuss Gentry when it comes to Griff but at what point are we worried about the 2019 draft.

A bunch of people had hoped Hayes would have put on a bunch of muscle in his first offseason and be a valuable guy in year two. He had a few months and looks the exact same, he probably won't look any different by year 2. He's really, really bad at basketball right now.

NAW is only one year younger than Lonzo. He can't even get on the floor.

Didi is a guy people are excited about because they haven't actually seen him play, but he's supposed to be a 3 and D guy, and he shot 40% overall and 33% from three in Australia.

There's A LOT of guys in the 2019 draft that could have contributed more sooner.

We kept Kenny hustle, Frank, and Jahlil over Wood. I don't really like Wood, but none of those guys are contributing anything positive.

Melli is okay, I guess, for what they're paying him (virtually nothing).

Griff gets credit for turning around the roster that can't defend ANY front court position what so ever and has insane redundancy at the guard position.

Basically nothing Griff has done except take the only deal out there for AD has panned out so far. Maybe all the guys I mentioned will turn into all stars, but it seems just as likely they'll all be Anthony Bennett at this point.

Sorry for being Debbie Downer but I mean, literally no one on the roster is playing well right now and it's frustrating.

I think the team has an incredible amount of talent and assets. They just need to jettison Gentry.

Then get a cheaper person for Favors role, find a reasonable stretch 5, and sign Ingram.

People just assume that young players with “tools” put it all together as they get older. But that often doesn’t happen. I hope in this next draft they take more proven young players. Hachimura was the perfect example of that last year. I felt that Coby White was as well.

Herro would’ve been an amazing pick right now.

Going into the bubble, I said that it wouldn't hurt to keep Gentry one more year, if Griffin couldn't get hire the coach that he wanted this offseason.

I've changed my mind. We can't endure another season of Gentry.

Gentry should never have been allowed off the plane to interview let alone been hired.
Griffin's 1st decision should have been to fire Gentry. That shows a lot when you want in, evaluate and fail to make the easiest decision staring you in the face. Griffin looks way overhyped and probably needs to go too. Guy rode LeBron's coat tails in Cleveland and has put together a mess in NOLA.
But with Loomis running everything, the guy can get away with at least another 4-5 losing seasons just by hiring a new head coach.

It’s a good thing he’s not the GM, I guess. But he’s done well at his actual job so far.

Griff is not the GM, Langdon is. No major moves after preseason. Offseason ...Need Front Court Presence, they can add another big and keep Favors and be good.

You even mentioning Loomis with the Pels shows you have no fricking clue what you're talking about.

Gayle wanted him for the year. He won’t be the coach next season but will be with the organization.

Look, I’ll admit, I’d be the first one to bag on NAW and thought he was gonna be off the team come next summer, but he actually played well today. They’ve got to realize though, he is not a point guard and can’t facilitate the offense against an NBA defense.

He played well on defense today and knocked down a 3, but the sooner they realize he isn’t a point guard, the better off we will be.

Yea this is just wrong. This team isn't a mess and has a lot going for it. We have young talent, picks, and trade bait.

Before the season almost everybody on here knew this team wasn't a playoff team. But now we got a sniff of it everybody is pissed they didnt make it. This team wasnt supposed to win year one and has a bright outlook. Far from a mess.
