Sort of Willie related, it looks like Summer Camp at Jrue's in California has shifted to Summer Camp at BI's in Phoenix.

Seems like a good chunk of the Pelicans team is in Phoenix right now. Bled, Kira, Jaxson and Wenyen were all hanging out. BI likes to spend his offseason's training there. I wonder who else?

Kinda cool, we have some sort of team building stuff going on, I but hope Jax and BI don’t get too attached to the other 3 lol.
Bled is gone. Kira has a 50% chance of being gone considering he is pretty good trade bait. I’d say Wenyen has a 50% chance of being gone too considering how many 2nd rd picks we currently have and probably wanting to fill out the fringes of our roster with shooters, although I must say, Wenyen was stroking 3’s better than I thought when we gave him some run.

Same for Joe Brady and everyone says he is a already a Sean Payton level head coach based on his one year at LSU

I just want to say that I am not homosexual, and I also have no wife or gf at the moment. It happens sometimes, believe it or not.

You have been diagnosed with The Gay. I’m afraid it’s terminal.

Bledsoe is there to teach them how to take over as tank commander when he is traded...he learned the craft from the OG Eric Gordon and has to pass on his knowledge before it is to late.

Wow. I knew that I liked looking at Zion's muscles, but I never figured out that I was gay. But, obviously, the fact that I currently have no wife or girlfriend ... I mean, that's just indisputable evidence.
I owe this board so much. Y'all have meant so much to me, but helping me to understand that I must be gay? That's another level.

Its possible you're not gay. Its more probable you are just ugly.

thats a dumb way of looking at it.

It’s not wrong though. Hindsight is always 2020, but Dell should’ve been gone long before Monty.
It is still dumb. Even if the Benson's would have fired Dell first, the new GM would have wanted to bring in his own guy at head coach. Monty was getting fired 9ne way or another.

Maybe, maybe not. He and Willie Green played together, and if he's had coach he'll have some say. Plus, his value can't go down from where it is now. We could keep him till the trade deadline, or in the offseason he becomes an asset as an expiring...

Is there a chance Bledsoe gives a frick with his former teammate as HC and plays some defense?

The Green hire means that I might not be desperate to get rid of Bledsoe, if the front office honestly believes that SVG/scheme/motivation/etc was the problem.
If Bledsoe plays hard and is willing to come off the bench, then we could keep him until the trade deadline and turn a negative asset into a positive one.

I can see the logic in that, but do you really want a player who is only situationally motivated? In the book Junction Boys, Bear Bryant kept bus tickets in his desk for players that wanted to quit the grueling camp. But he'd tell them something like - "the first time you quit it's hard, the second time it's a little easier, after that you don't hardly think about it." If Bled was willing to half-arse it once, I think he's likely to do it again when things don't go just the way he would like them to.

I'm sure Green won't have any issues keeping Bledsoe motivated. If you look at last season SVG made the entire team look unmotivated at times. I don't think motivation will be an issue moving forward for any player on the roster.

No he doesn't. The tweet says "planning to hire". I don't have an Athletic subscription but this looks like the usual follow up article to the tweet Shams made yesterday.

Yeah, the article doesn't give any more detail than what we already knew.
I would say that this tweet from Shams is just more confirmation that the process is continuing.

I'm pretty sure it's all but official whereas the previous thought was that he was the front-runner and likely hire. But yeah the title still fits.
