You saying this after one huge game by him?
I’m not even a huge Graham hater, but just where do you get off?

Graham has won us more games with his buzzer beaters this season than he has coat us while being in a slump.

Graham is far from overpaid, people just have to high of an expectation for him.

THE frick WE DO. GRAHAM's shot selection sucks day in and day out. He has ONE good game a month at best. He is horrible on defense, including tonight.

He had a good night tonight, he took better shots than usual and drove to the basket more than usual. If he played like he played tonight nobody could complain even with his non existent defense. The reality is he shoots 36% from the field as a SHOOTING GUARD. I hate to reflect on this on a good night so I am done with this until his next 12% shooting night... which I hope never comes.

He's been asked to do more than he should though. Injuries forced him into a starting role from day one and he should really be our 6th-8th man.

I think he'll settle into his intended role next year and play much better. All assuming good health.

He was brought here to be the starting 1, with Kira as the back up. He’s not that. He is what he is, and that’s okay, especially if we can get more consistency.

Does Kira have a place on this roster anymore? There is no way he is beating out grand theft Alvarez when he finishes rehab.

He was brought in after plans A, B,C and D didn't work out.

Right

It's always been weird the almost immediate retconning that went on with DG, like immediately people jumped to heralding him as this genius acquisition on the part of Griff and people started pumping him up to be someone he never was.

Fact is, he's a guy that is best off the bench and Cha knew that, but the Pels struck out repeatedly, mismanaged the Lonzo situation, so thats how you get to Devonte as your starting PG at the price we had to pay.

Still argue that as a bench player, he's a completely fine contract and player. We wont have any trouble finding takers if an upgrade path opens up somewhere

bullshite

From almost the moment the acquisition was announced the majority of this board was declaring him a better Lonzo, gonna feast with Zion, his stats will only be better, Curry/Trae-like gravity and deep three shooting, and people up until probably only last month were still clinging to the line that "we have to wait til Zion gets back to see Griff's vision fully formed" as if Graham wasn't option E or F.

I think that's a little bit of hyperbole

If you average it out, the consensus was that Graham was better value than Lonzo at half the price

In what world was it expected for Graham to light it up and consistently have huge games????

Not this one.

He’s a 12-16 point scoring spot starter and bench player.

Well, we (perhaps) gave up a 1st round pick to acquire him and he has had some extremely rough stretches.

They probably would have liked more efficient, more regularly consistent play from him.
