- good work ethic
- rarely injured
- not a wimp

The ignorance shown by some in here is downright comical. We are talking about the playoffs. Not regular season. Since Belinelli came back to full form after his nagging injuries (which was games 6 and 7) he has been unbelievably clutch and has lifted the Bulls up.
2 games does not a career make.

You just said Marco Belinelli is the leader of the Bulls. Since you seem to think that a healthy Marco is borderline all-star, I don't think it'd be too ridiculous for you to call your shot, go out on a limb, and predict EIGHT WHOLE PPG in the Heat series.
I'll take the under.

Because it was a bad move. Which is something Demps has proven to be excellent at doing.
Marco should have been resigned. In NBA dollars he comes extremely cheap and adds more value than about 80% of the Hornets current D-Leauge caliber roster who make more money.

Ok so you're just a troll, got it

Are you arguing Belinelli hasn't been clutch for the Bulls? Did you watch game 7?
He has also hit 3 or 4 other game winners this season as well (since some are only focused on regular season)

No, he's saying that he wasn't clutch in the 146 games he played for us

He shot his career low from the 3 and nearly matched his career low from the field this year.

Weebie - I didn't think it was possible but I think that 75% of this board actually feels bad for you and your evaluation of NBA talent. You came to an actual basketball board with Pro-Belinelli smack.

Beli played in the playoffs for us too, and he was hot garbage.

Why don't you tell us the other "bad" moves.

Why is it always so difficult for some fans on this board (and only on this board) to give props and credit to former Hornets players? I guarantee you that if Belinelli did what he did in games 6 and 7 for the Hornets this year (had they have made the playoffs of course) then this board would be full of smiley faces bowing down to him and dancing bananas. This board contains some of the most ridiculous examples of homerism, ignorance, denial, hypocrisy, and low basketball IQ that I have ever seen from any fan base in the NBA.
Ask someone to explain big words before you use them.
Also, what "we" are talking is about is
quote:
Just another bad move by Demps for letting Marco walk for nothing. Dude has been in beast mode lately and has become the leader of the Chicago Bulls in the playoffs this year. He was extremely clutch in both games 6 and 7. I hated to see him go especially when you consider he was only asking for about $3.5-4 million.
Also, he's making $2m on a 1y deal . . . so that is what he's worth as it was gotten on the player market, as restricted as it is.

Players like Belinelli come a dime a dozen. He would have made the Hornets only marginally better this season, if at all. He really isn't a very good player, and certainly isn't the leader of the Bulls. GTFO with that.
I said the same things about Beli when he was on the team, so you can save your homerism garbage.
He contributes NOTHING other than scoring, and he has less than desirable shooting percentages. He had a good couple of games. Let's see if he can do it consistently--doubtful. There's real evidence to support that.
...career PER of 11.6

On this, we can agree.

The regular season is kind of important.

So we're talking about a two game sample size vs. the rest of his career.

Because most of us don't recognize Marco Belinelli as clutch shooting guard . . . kk. You do realize, don't you, that the Williams and Demps made their decision regarding Beli based upon his performance here, right?
You have issues, son. Not kidding. I'm worried about you. A troll, typically, is not as utterly fricked as you are . . . so I'm genuinely concerned about your well being.
Well, that's only partially true. I really don't give a rat's arse about your well being.
