As a Celts fan, I'd put both Smart and the Grizz pick above Jaylen.

NBA source (who I trust a lot) told me tonight he thinks Boston is landing spot for Anthony Davis.
Says Tatum is player NOLA covets most.
Tatum, Smart (who @PelicansNBA also really like), filler (Williams, Ojeyele or Yabusele) & at least pick #14 this year.
So basically everything that has been speculated on for the last 2-3 months..
Breaking.........

If they don't want to throw the Grizz pick in, then the Lakers deal with #4 is better.
I just assume this is their starting offer. We'll get more thrown in.

Yep. Memphis pick is an absolute must in that deal. Tatum, Smart, Memphis pick, and another one of Boston's own picks is the minimum.

Why not ask for all 3? I don't see why we can't swing for the fences on this deal. Anthony Davis is a monster

I have no problem with that, just saying what the base should be in a Celtics/Pels deal.

I’m sure we are.
As previously said by a smarter poster than I, I think the first part is sourced but the actual deal is speculation.

Lakers: AD
Celtics: Ingram, Kuzma and Lonzo
Pelicans: Tatum, Smart and #4 pick
Who says no?

We aren't getting an all nba player in return for AD so getting a shite load of young guys with potential is ideal. More the merrier. Load up the bench.

So let’s talk about the angle in all this.
Someone in the Pels gave this to Fletch for a reason. What is that reason?

No idea why so many of you guys are so hung up on their shitpile pu-pu platter.
For real, it was kind of incredible that you guys landed AD within a year of CP3 demanding a trade, and even more incredible that this AD fiasco could lead to you guys landing Zion and Tatum. AD is a great player but he is demanding a trade while also working actively to kill his own trade value to force a trade to LA.
Have been watching Boston sports since 1980, and the only two prospects since Bird and Bourque that have made me jump out of my chair this soon were Gronk and Tatum. Extremely hesitant to let this guy go for a possible/likely AD rental. The kid is a STUD with great poise, mental makeup, and work ethic. and he actually doesn't hate getting traded to NO.
If you end up with him and Smart after getting sabotaged like this, my only question is who is driving the getaway car? Losing out on AD for Zion or some stud like PG13 I get, and will at least listen to the Morant argument, but for the Lakers/Nets/Clippers shitpiles? Say what? That's just a fundamental misunderstanding about the basics of basketball and what it takes to actually win.
I could come back midseason next year, and I absolutely guarantee that 90%+ of you would get it then. And you'd get one more year to soft tank for a 3rd beast to put with Zion and Tatum? Holy smokes, what crazy luck out of a bad situation.
