Dyson wasn't beating out Herb on the depth chart and playing them together with another non shooter in Zion just was never going to work out. I'm happy for Dyson, but this wouldn't have happened here. He's in a situation that maximizes his skillset.

Idk it's close IMO. They offer different things. Hope we can keep both somehow.

Yeah sure Cade is going to win that's why Vegas sportsbooks have him at (+200) and Daniels at (-250).

Who is this bozo?

I think Cade wins also. Vegas odds change daily.

Dyson should have been beating out Herb on the depth chart but it would not have been great either way with our lack of shooters.

In hindsight trading Herb instead of Dyson and keeping 1 if not both picks would probably have been a better situation.

Dyson at 20-25 MIL going forward > Herb at $15MIL looking to the future. I'm sure some people won't like that but its the "Honest Truth"

You're right Dyson went from (+150) to (-250) within the last 48 hours. Dyson will be (-500) by this weekend

Tons of people will be eating crow on here. Should have never been traded.

Will be hilarious if he’s named dop. Didn’t like the Murray trade and said we would regret it.

The trade was an unmitigated disaster.

It doesn't matter if Herb and Dyson were redundant. No, you can't predict injuries but we traded an up and comer and are left with a broke down dude who wasn't really playing well before the injury.

Murray was putting up Westbrick numbers. terrible shooting and lots of turnovers. filling up the box in every category, including the bad ones.

Now, we have an unmovable contract with a guy who will likely never be starter quality again.

Just worst case scenario.

We're at about a dozen good NBA players that can't play with Zion. Zion is the common denominator of all the lineups that don't work.

Got a few threads I’ve been waiting to bump once he takes Herbs spot on the 1st team all defensive team.

Still remember the poster that said he’ll be out the league and playing back Australia soon enough lol.

I agree with your point but it’s just another data point that shows Willie can’t develop young players.

Dyson has 200 steals + 50 blocks

Herb had half as many steals and 62 blocks last year

Dyson is the better player as of today
