Hield is a spot up guy. He can't create nor dribble.

He took Austin Rivers and would have taken Burke if Noel went top 5, so there's that

Meanwhile, for the small sample size crowd, he has only made two draft pick related trades- Jrue and Asik

In a battle of small sample sizes, I have liked his trades better than his picks

That can light it up from three like it ain't shite!

And players improve. I've learned to NEVER just automatically go with what the scouts and analysts think. If a player is willing to improve he will improve.

This alone should make people weary.

I still struggle with the Jrue trade because of the price tag..

But on the other side Philly failed to disclose injuries so I blame them more.

So every player who didn't improve, didn't want it?

I couldn't disagree more. Tony Allen practices his jumper more than a lot of guys who hit their jumpers at a high rate. DeAndre Jordan practices his FT's more than 90% of the NBA

Some guys just won't improve significantly in areas, no matter how hard they try. Greivis Vasquez will never gain lateral quickness. And on and on and on

Sure, you can't predict the future with great, or even good accuracy. But 'anything is possible' is a lie. There are a limited amount of things that are possible, both on micro and macro levels

people are blinded by what they saw this year from buddy just because he was great THIS year in college doesn't mean that will translate. I have my doubts he can create his own shot in the NBA

It still kinda baffles me that Demps has had such a spotty draft record so far.

Rivers, liking Burke etc. When he has been so good at spotting diamond in the ruff players. Which in a sense is a lot of what the draft is. Looking over the landscape of prospects and finding the best and most optimal players for your program.

I guess in his favor it was rumored he was enamored with Klay Thompson and we do have Ferry helping out now.

I wonder if they'd do it for the 6...

Rotoworld saying 3 might be going to Philly for Nerlens.

I've thought for a while that 3 for Okafor/Noel makes a ton of sense for both teams. I'd imagine Philly would take Dunn with 3.

Was Nerlens decent this year or something? Dead serious question. I don't keep up with the rest of the NBA

He was last year too. And did we even have a workout with him? Was it just Jaylen Brown?

He's still a project offensively but already a beast on the defensive side. Basically the polar opposite of Okafor.

We watched Hield work out twice in LA. We have only had Jamal Murray and Jaylen Brown in NOLA for workouts. I wouldn't take Murray after what he said today. You don't wanna be here, then frick off. I'm not as high on Dunn , but at least he wants to be here. Give me Hield or Dunn.
