Maybe if you throw in Jrue and 6 you could beat the initial offers listed here, but Boston has so many assets we'd be out after the first round of bidding. And I'd be a little iffy on trading Jrue and 6 for Hayward simply because you have to be a playoff team with an upward trajectory to keep Hayward who becomes a UFA next year. While I think they could replace Jrue in the long term, I'm not sure how easy it would be to replace him this offseason and be good enough to keep Hayward around.

I'd love to have Hayward but as with literally all other trades, other teams have more ammunition.

No trades. No nothing. This draft is simple. Stay put and take Dunn if there. If he's gone, take Hield. Badabing badaboom. Easy money. Trade Tyreke at another time.

There's no way we could get Gordon anyway.

Oh I know. I'm just talking trades in general.

I still struggle with the Jrue trade because of the price tag. But on the other side Philly failed to disclose injuries so I blame them more

They should've been penalized more than just handing over cash considerations. They should've be forced to give up one of their 1st round picks for being so damn shady.

The conspiracy minded folk think maybe we got an extra 2nd for Ish as partial compensation. It's still not enough, trading one of their late 1sts for Tyreke might balance the scales though.

Fascinating wrinkle to draft: Phx wants Chriss, Min wants Dunn, NO wants Murray and Sac wants Buddy - but nobody knows who Celts want at 3.

But I want Dunn

I would love to get Gordon Hayward. I'd easily give up this and next years first for him. Hell they can have 2018 first too. I doubt that would be enough though, and as usual, we really have no trade assets to get a big time player.

Well unless the #3 spot takes Brown or Bender, some team isn't getting who they want. Probably us.

According to everyone in Utah and Stein, Hayward is not available

We need the Suns to stay at 4 and take a big. Otherwise, we could be at 6 with Simmons, Ingram, Dunn, Murray and Hield all gone.

For possibly a one year rental?
