I think we get the better of the two picks between us and Milwaukee, so maybe a pick flip if they are worse which they by all accounts should be

I think tigers FTW (above) has it right. We get the higher of our pick or their pick. Since we are going 78-4 (per DQ!) and the Bucks are 1-7, we would take their pick position and they would get ours. Again, I think this is so.

Correct. We don't own their pick, we have swap rights. The less favorable of the two picks between NO and MIL actually goes to Atlanta.

If both picks fall in the top four the lesser of the two picks doesn't go to Atlanta and we keep both.

We get the better of our pick or the Bucks pick, and then we send the other one to ATL.
If both picks are in the top 5 then we keep them both, and we don't owe ATL anything in the future.

We gave up Dyson/Nance/ Lakers 2025 (22nd pick)/ lesser of our pick and Bucks 2027 first, for Murray, who we don't want anymore.

I think its more about whether Murray wants to be here or not. I wouldn't mind keeping Murray but if he doesn't want to be here and you don't expect him to get an extension then he has to go.

Several players were already traded or received extensions and can't be dealt until December/ January. Might have to keep Poole/ Murray/ etc until then.

This would be a good thing because it prob means we are going after a better player.

Start cheering for the Bucks to win a couple of games, don't want them in the bottom three.

Given the rule changes, I want us in the play in to get the highest odds.
