Doesn't Ryan Anderson deserve to be a "starter"?

He's pretty much got the starters minutes but only "started" about half the games this year. Does he not deserve to get the recognition of being a starter for this team no matter the positional definition that is frustrating for a few of our guys.

I think they bring him off the bench because it gives our bench more balance. We would have pretty good starters, and with guys like Anderson coming off the bench, it makes our bench look better, and some of our starters would get more valued rest. He definitely deserves to be a starter, but he seems to be more valuable coming off the bench, at least for the Hornets.

He's getting slightly more minutes a game than he as last year as a "starter" in Orlando. He's always in at crunch times. Why does it matter?

The problem Monty is having is that RYNO can't guard SF's consistently on a game to game basis. AD does not have to body to hold up to play the 5 every night which forces you to play Lopez.

Then why does it matter that he's on the bench at beginning of game. Just should reward your best players with being a starter. That's my theory.

Rotations. In the past few years, we have seen that the 6th man is often the 3rd or 4th most valuable player on good teams.

Id love if all basketball coaches started viewing the game like hockey. Ryno is the captain of the second line. He is also a member of the crunch time line

I agree but our starting 5 has been pretty abysmal much of the year. EG back can make it more tolerable i guess.

I think most coaches do this already. Fans seem to struggle with the concept.

Starting doesn't matter.

He's getting starter minutes and is in the game when it is to be decided.

That's all that matters

Martin will be 6th man of the year. Anderson's team won't even win 30 games he should be disqualified.

Parsons isn't shooting well this year but he does everything else well. Best contract in the league.
