Woah, didn’t see that coming. Wonder who they are going after.

I know the MSB was really down on Doc after the Clips lost to Denver but I'll take him as our coach over Lue.

I think we found where Lue ends up.

I’d rather Lue

Hmmm Mike D wouldn't be a good fit with their roster (expects too much out of his star players)

I could see them going after someone like Mark Jackson. It will definitely have to be someone easy going to deal with Kawhi and his load management.

Won’t even be considered for the Pels. I may be wrong, but didn’t he have a position in the FO as well as being the coach? Griff wouldn’t hire someone who wants so much control

Doc Rivers might be the best hire Pels could get
Gives them immediate credibility

If not, go find a young up and coming coach, anyone on the Heat staff they could go after?

I don’t want him tbh. I could see the clippers promoting Lue tho.

I don’t see that happening at all. He’s going to want more power in an org than Griffin would be interested in giving.

Never say never but it seems highly unlikely.

Rivers is not a good coach, like at all. We’d be wasting 3-5 years of Zion when we already know what we’re getting

Something must have happened the past couple of days for this to happen. I wonder if this is player related.

I could see the following playing out now:

Doc to 76ers
Lue to Clippers
MDA to Pacers

Might be the best case scenario for the Pels

Doc may not be the best “coach,” but he has qualities that would be extremely welcomed in this organization that the average fan doesn’t worry about when it comes to the coach.

Not necessarily but they're not doing it without Kawhi's OK.

And despite Doc's failings he'd be by far the best coach in Hornets/Pels history but doubt it's even considered cause he'd want too much control and money.
