Assuming the Pels plan on NOT having one of BI or Zion by next year (Or not having either one of them for that matter)...I see no reason not to retain Willie...until, at least, such a trade is made.

If the Pels plan on keeping BOTH BI & Zion...I don't think it really matters who is the Coach of the Pels. They are VERY likely doomed to just being a team that creeps into the playoffs...and quickly exits.

Lot of reasons to keep Willie, until the BIG trade gets here...THEN...you can always make a move on Willie...or not, depending on the situation.

I hope he's gone by the ASB. Won't happen, though

We are not a bad basketball team and firing him mid season would be totally uncalled for

He needs to double the frick out of Ja tonight, though.

Given how little time our "Big Three" has played together, isn't almost imperative that Willie be given a full year? Is it painful to see a team with such a deep roster flailing about it crunch time? You're doggone right it is, but I can't see any good that would come from getting rid of Green midstream unless there is some top tier candidate out there who does not have a job and would love to jump to a small market midseason.

Eh Willie decision making, ATOs and rotations have been really bad. I don’t think personally we need a top tier candidate with the talent we have to win us games. Honestly I bet Borrego would be better than Willie in his decision making.

This team is under-achieving, in large part due to Willie. No, he does not deserve the rest of the season. I would much rather replace him with Borrego for the remainder of the season to see how this team performs under the latter for the potential long-term replacement.

Willie deserves the chance to finish. He has earned it to this point.
I'm just questioning the acumen of the whole staff bc somethings are inexcusable and some are baffling. We should have a better record.
Willie talks about toughness but Willie the team follows your lead. Sounds like the coaching is not rendered in a manner to instill the toughness and resolve, of which he speaks.

How exactly has he earned it? By blowing several games late by not even pretending to run an offense? His terrible lineups and substitutions? Please tell me, how in the frickity frick has he earned it?

He's a subpar coach.
Gayle loves subpar coaches
