Does Stiemsma? How much does Aminu help?
DeRozan may be a decent asset, or enable another move.
Gordon for Deng still looks good for both teams, especially since Rose is down and if they want get behind Butler at forward when his toe is better.
I don't dismiss it. If I'm charitable to the info, I see some sense if there are other deals. If I'm not charitable, I see that it hurts the team on the court this season, since I think Aminu's defense, rebounding, and expiring deal are more valuable than another guard, even one who can play SF and shot jump shots better than Aminu, with another heavy deal.

Yo, i can diggg that!!
Once AD is playing C next year.... pels gonna be too much!
I really don't mind the young talented aminu, but i think he's a 4 and we have 3 PFs at the moment.

Dawg, that's racist as shite.
Also, I would give up Gordon for Deng only. Keep Stiemsma and Aminu

I'm not sure I totally get these are the best options for each team,
Ujiri is in complete teardown mode trying to rebuild after the mess Colangelo made. They want to build around Valuncias (sp).
I get why they got basically nothing back for Gay, but Derozan has more value than Gay. Aminu and filler is hardly value for Derozan.
Feel like people are losing the plot here. We've seen 20 games. Hasnt been perfect, but no one should be expecting that. Lets see if they can improve. Switching out players just to switch is a first class ticket to the mediocrity treadmill.

On top of that he and Demps are friends. If no one can give you value for Derozan and you're dumping him anyway, where better to dump him than on a friend in another conference? One thing that I don't think has been brought up in this thread yet is that Aminu has veto power on any trades involving him.

That's just how the CBA breaks. Aminu would lose his Bird Rights if he got traded so he gets veto power. Belinelli had it his last year as a Hornet too.

Dell was probably listening to an old message I left him about trading the pick in the offseason. Nothing to see here.

Shocker...a three-team trade proposal where the Pelicans somehow get the two best players and get to dump Eric Gordon on somebody...and here I thought the Asik for Ilyasova AND Antetokounmpo was the most clueless post of this thread.

I don't want a 2-guard with shitty shot selection. But it doesn't shock me that Toronto is trying to move him. Their strategy seems to be clearing the books completely.

This line was maybe accurate in the past, but he's actually much improved in basically every offensive category this season

Does the money work? Cause if it does I would love this.

This is a toss up. Aminu has been playing well and gives you a defender for the larger 3s and smaller 4s. Derozan will give you more offensive assertiveness but what about defense and boards... seems youre losing that with him.

Of course you would, but why would the Bulls take on Gordon's contract?

Still doesn't address the lack of a big either.

I would personally rather a straight up trade with Portland.
Portland gets Gordon, Pels get Aldridge. Who says no?
