Has Coach K aged since '92? No. Is he the best? Yes.
The minute the rumors become a distinct reality and its known he's considering the jump to the Pels, you will be the 1st one to pray he's secured. FACTS.

This is not college and negative recruting by telling players a coach may leave or retire.
The window for a chip is NOW! If we are Duke South, why not get them man that started it all?

I think health may be the biggest deterrent to him taking the job. But, Chris says he's been feeling great the last 2 years besides the game he coached last year with dizziness (lost to SFA).

Like I said, take it with a grain of salt.
Griffin is looking to make a splash hire.
Been trying to get moms to make some calls.

Nah, real deal homie... My mom went to law school with David Falk (GWU) and they both were ProServ interns. They were in the same study group. Falk is actually my sister's godfather.

So you have actually have no idea since you didn’t see MJ sign it.

Here’s an insider secret: plenty of celebrities have their assistants forge their signature. For example Les Miles.

Ahh, you could be right. But, I think I got it from as good of a source as possible, his agent, which by the way is Coach K's agent as well. Framed jersey came off the wall in his home office in '97 as a H.S. graduation gift. And Im the one that took it off the wall with Daina holding the chair I stood on. Im pretty confident in the jersey I have and my ability to find out if Coach K is considering the Pels job.

Haters gonna Hate. Give me a few days and I'll bet you the jersey.

Damn, so much hostility in the room. Lol. Not trying to convince anybody to believe anything. Not looking for stripes on some forum.

I just am excited at the prospect and thought I share with the regulars and real fans of the Pels the POSSIBILITY of such an audacious move.

Your more than welcome to disregard every word I have said... Makes no difference to me. Like I said, its not all good on my end bc it may thwart some plans that was in the making, but its all good.

I once worked for a guy whose signature I used to have to forge on a regular basis -- like, literally, thousands of times. He used to joke about it with the Yogi Berra-like "When he signs my name, it looks more like my signature than when I sign it."

I got 6 zion jerseys I got from fanatics. Whoever the HC coach is, I hope he makes Zion into a superstar. So my jerseys can be worth like MJs.

I will say that I feel extremely confident that Coach K would be a big draw for free agent players. I think, though, that Coach K would likely be on a three-year plan. He's obviously not a long-term plan, but maybe he'd want to do this for 3 or 4 years, win a title, and then completely retire from coaching.

OP, I don't think that this is crazy. I don't think that it's likely, but no coach is likely at this point. I think the odds of this happening are as good as any other coach getting hired.

Story goes, Zion seriously struggled with decision to leave Duke and enter draft. Coach K persuaded Zion to leave.

Zion said, "Coach would you coach my team if I go?"
Coach K says VERBATIM, "I give you my word, I would consider it, if the stars aligned... I want you to reach your potential bc I believe in your greatness to the game of basketball."

Stars have aligned folks. Thats all Im gonna say now. Follow Langdon and all things will be revealed. Griffin trusts Langdon's ability to get Coach K to a meeting. Thats all Griff feels he needs.

Story is absolutely true. Its been alluded to and told several times. JJ Reddick told it on his podcast at the beginning of the season from what I remember.
