Sure hate to lose Hart, but I think McCollum will be an excellent fit.

Stephen A Smith is the biggest piece of sh1t I think I’ve ever seen.

Talking like CJ is too good to be here.

What a cnut

I really hope we make some noise in the next couple of years and he can suck our collective Pelican penises…

I simply do not like him and do not want him as our GM, no matter what.

I like the trade, and i like the team, but this team still isn't a WCF contender as is. I can't see us keeping Nance in this trade, so i'm sure there will be more to this trade, so it's too early to tell, but there's a good chance after that trade is completed, the roster is pretty much set for the near future. You'll have Jax/Graham and picks to throw out there for one more big trade, and i can't see us keeping Jax past next trade deadline. The only way we keep him is if he starts playing the 5 at an elite level, and i mean that defensively more than offensively. This Jax at the 4 isnt' going to work with Zion, unless Zion learns how to guard wing players on the perimeter effectively.

You could have stopped here.

He keeps crushing it and it keeps getting quieter and quieter.

I think he got lucky that the roco/eg trade set the market low for him.

he hasn't crushed a single thing since he's been here other than lucking into Herb.

I'm not anointing him after 1 trade. Let's see us start a season at least near .500 instead of our usual 1-10 start before we think this trade was great. This trade isn't about this year. It's about the next 2 years. We'll see how that works out in time. there's still work left to do.

For this trade? Or as an overall GM?

Overall about a C- with the potential to climb higher based on how the CJ experiment plays out.

For this trade, A-

AD trade - anyone could have done that. that's like saying good job draft Zion.
Jrue trade - anyone could have done that.
Willie Green - good move, should have happened a year earlier.
Moving on from SVG - should have never been hired, but yeah i'll give it to him for admitting his stupid hire and moving quickly to fix it.
Herb Jones - complete luck. congrats on finally using a 2nd pick instead of giving it away.
CJ trade - we shall see, but i think its a good trade right now.

I think you know what brought me here...so basically all I've seen so far is Herb and this trade for CJ. So, I'll just give him a grade of..."Somewhere just below Einstein", realizing it's a very small sample size, for me.

The SA trade and extension was a pretty big frick up.

Then you have to give him shite for not moving ball, trading him for popcorn, and then overpaying for Graham.

I think that’s selling Griff short honestly. (no pun intended). We are in a very good position right now no matter how pessimistic or down our fan base has been. Griff made some bad but somewhat safe moves and then he learned from them. Now we are right where we need to be. We are stacked with at least a 1st draft pick every year and are 2 deep in every position. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to say that even during the CP3 days.

This all gets him at least a B to B- overall

The thing is a lot of what today was about was getting this team to something resembling what we could of had in year one by simply drafting Garland at 4 and not making a ton of questionable "win now" moves, bad hires, odd trades, and other things that also contributed to Jrue wanting out and essentially on our third coach in three years and third iteration of a team built around Zion/Bi.

And as much as I like the CJ trade on paper, it can go from high to low real quick if his back and ankle issues crop back up or he ages like Kemba. It will be some time before we can fully judge this trade. But on paper, I do like it, and quite a lot.

Which is why I say C- overall as a GM, but with the potential to climb higher.

And the Jonas trade and extension is a gold mine.

Every single GM has misses, not every one has big hits.

Griff and Trajan has had alot of big hits, especially this season.
