Right, Zion can just come in and ball out.

Would've been nice if JJ Redick could've put Stephen A in his place regarding Zion and his time in NOLA, but he just sat there and did nothing.

I mean I agree. We owe him a lot for being proud to play for us. But he wasn’t what our team needed in order to win. We need shooters.
Oh I agree, but that doesn’t make it any easier to swallow. This was a trade heavily favored to our advantage and it addresses a need we’ve had for a very long time.
I will still miss Josh.

Thousands of sets/pnr combos you can run with a CJ/BI/Z core. I can't stand up right now. Even the horns we ran last year would work so well with these guys.

The guy who benefits most from the PnR will be Hayes. He finally has a guy who is deadly in all 3 levels. Lobs for days.

One of the things he said was he hasn't seen Zion's desire to play since he got here. So yeah he's trying to manifest Zion to NY even when they're talking about us landing another all star
I mean if we were giving up Herb and multiple firsts I would freak, but this is the definition of grasping at straws

There is absolutely no truth to this story. There is no crime in NOLA since they removed any and all confederate statues.
Two firsts? Hell nah, after what a Powell just went for. Better be a heavily protected ‘25 bucks first

You can't tell me after the run the Suns had that the Pels can't find a way to get into a WCF/Finals in 2-3 years
how does that work?
suns did not have to beat gsw full team.
look man, warriors klay is now back pretty much as previous. green supposedly back in a month. he looks very iffy though.
memphis picks up brooks in a month.
both those will be factors.
luka is a factor.
lebron is a factor.
murray back with jokic next year.
no sure thing man.

Honestly I cant wait to see a Jonas, Zion PnR where Jonas pops out, CJ and BI are on the arc, and Hayes or Herb is cutting.
Feels like we are on the verge of some near unstoppable sets once the team is healthy and synced up.

Injuries happen every year. Team trajectories change every year. We just gotta hope for once it's not us getting screwed.

Any thoughts on Snell?
I know he hasn't been good this year but I remember him being pretty solid before.

He's just a salary filler minimum deal. I wouldnt be surpirsed if hes bought out pretty quick.

He's one of those guys who can be a good defensive presence on a good defensive team but he also one of those guys who will look bad on bad defensive team.
He isn't a needle mover. Think of him usage wise like a Gary Clark.

I mean if he can get back to his career averages hes a solid upgrade to Temple, Sato, Trey(currently), and Naw(efficiency wise and defense).

Yeah but SFP said he’s worse than Norman Powell lmao

CJ’s on a different timeline than Zion.
CP3 is on a different timeline than Booker yet they were in the finals last year.
CJ is only 30. Some of yall acting like he’s going on 40.

It’s not a great return for us considering what we could have got for him not that long ago.
I like it for CJ though. He’s a dawg out there and battles.

but whatiknowsofar is setting it up to be blaming people.
yes hazel injuries happen.
random arrests.
wife beating.
but on paper the new pel cj plus zion and team as it is now is not the favorite. maybe 6th seed.
as you may recall, pre zion foot surgery news vegas set pels o/u at 38.5.
if this pels team hits that mark they probably get a playin game. id feel better about it if we got a zion update.
fwiw, memphis was set at 40.5.
without brooks memphis
now at 37.
hes still 2 to 3 weeks away.
