He just had a kid right? Maybe he got cleared but is taking the extra time with his newborn?

Nah he said he’s literally not cleared to fly at all until 4 weeks after the injury

It's a B2b. You want him to drive 1000 miles and play that night? fricking Chad.

Road trip with a 1 year old a newborn sounds awesome! Christian Clark said he's flying to Sacramento, so he'll be able to fly by then, just not in time for Chicago.

would show the young guns on this team that type of dedication he has for his teammates and their success. Big deal, sitting in a luxury car with an employee driving him.

It's a bit absurd that he can't fly on 12/1, but he's 100% okay to fly on 12/3

The 4 week mark is the 4 week mark.

It’s definitely arbitrary but whatever. Glad he’s almost 100% back, we need him

Not really, a few days in regards to recovery especially in the lung area is a big deal. Especially considering the oxygen in airplanes is less than normal conditions which becomes a big factor in lung injury recovery. Not really sure why people expect athletes not to follow guidelines especially when lung capacity is everything in playing professional basketball.

The pressurization of the airplane cabin can potentially cause expansion of the pneumothorax. Not sure when he will get cleared to fly.

B2B Injury Report

Zion Williamson (Rest)

CJ McCollum (Can’t Fly Due to Collapsed Lung Precautions)

That is so embarrassing in regards to Zion.
