Yeah HH and some others just don't give a shite, so that well is dry. Maybe the 247 guys will fill it. Dunno. Guess we'll just have to wait to find out.

i would think owner, new lease, naming rights, stuff like that

sounds like CP doesn't have much to do with it.

Probably easy to surmise. Just keep it to yourself.

there is no fricking way the 76ers deal iggy AND holiday

This would only work if Philly is still seriously wanting to get rid of Iggy.

since some of the guys on HR became indifferent the info has really dried up compared to what it used to be.

Well, when the franchise can't maintaint the moral high ground and superior sports knowledge with "you know who", it's going to create indifference with the movers and shakers at HR.

ETA: I have heard from more than one source that the lease, ownership AND arena naming rights are all on the table and close to being done. I think there is pretty good reason for optimism when it comes to the Hornets in New Orleans. The chatter is just too consistent to completely discount it.

Not sure if CP3 reads JHollinger, but a source says he knows NYK have nothing to trade to NOH and won't force his way there. Link coming.

Still sounds like damage control from the Paul camp, IMHO.

Until he is willing to accept an extension if traded somewhere like the Clippers, I'm of the belief that he's trying to force his way to the Knicks in exchange for Billups' expiring deal.

Hollinger has a new article up on trade options for Paul. It's insider but someone on another board was kind enough to post the important details.

Chris Paul, Trevor Ariza and Aaron Gray to New York for Carmelo Anthony, Toney Douglas, Iman Shumpert and Chauncey Billups.

Chris Paul, Emeka Okafor and Trevor Ariza to the Clippers for Eric Bledsoe, DeAndre Jordan, Chris Kaman and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round pick.

Chris Paul, Trevor Ariza and Emeka Okafor to the Lakers for Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom, Steve Blake and Devin Ebanks.

Chris Paul and Trevor Ariza to Boston; Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley and Emeka Okafor to Indiana; Brandon Rush, Darren Collison, Paul George, Roy Hibbert, Glen Davis and Boston's first-round pick in 2012 to New Orleans.

Chris Paul, Trevor Ariza, Jarrett Jack and Emeka Okafor to Atlanta for Al Horford, Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, Kirk Hinrich and Jeff Teague.

Chris Paul to Oklahoma City for Russell Westbrook.

Chris Paul, Trevor Ariza and Jarrett Jack to Golden State for Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, Klay Thompson, Ekpe Udoh and Dorell Wright.

Chris Paul and Trevor Ariza to Houston for Chase Budinger, Kyle Lowry, Marcus Morris, Luis Scola, and the better of Phoenix's, Houston's or New York's 2012 first-round pick.

Knicks - no way they give up Carmelo, so no way that happens

Clippers - Yes

Lakers - No

Celtics/Pacers - Yes

Atlanta - No (we are basically just changing team lineups)

OKC - Yes

Golden State - Triple Yes

Houston - No

I like the Clippers deal the most mainly because of Minn 1st round draft pick. Any trade we do for CP3 has to get us a draft pick unless we bringing back a legit star. The Houston and Boston trade would not be bad either.

Side note, I'd love to see Melo face if he gets traded to Hornets.

Would be one of the funniest things ever, but would also be a disaster.
